Selling a ship or equipment should, in Disco RP, relate no differently to selling an item in your local environment. The local newspaper ad or second hand shop. Or even in a back alley if that's where you want to (or have to) do your business.
It can be a full blown advert costing thousands of creds, a small card tucked in the window of your local shop, word of mouth, or a whisper from a stranger in a bar.
That's the custom and practice in real life and as far as I am concerned, is reflected on Disco.
It can even be an auction, as is often the case on Disco. Are we going to have rules about this next? Good grief!
No need to change or "moderate" anything. Stay sensible folks.

This needs a bump.
Also, Suzi, yes, people can say things like; "I'll buy it" and "how much?" etc. But when posts get to; "I'll buy it for 20mil, character's name is Blah" it's no longer roleplay.
This happens more than you think. The main element factored in when deciding if the thread has enough RP or not is the original post. If it does, it stays unlocked. Posts after that that are not roleplay are made invisible.
Open Market is in the Sirius News and Commerce section. The SNC section is in the Discovery Role-Playing Hub section. There are two pinned threads saying that roleplaying is required here.
