If they could get that barge through a scrap field, they'll have no problem with this.

For scale terms, think Liberty Gunboat.

One more thing, you've got a lot of space at the back for the engines. It could be shortened a little. It will get a destroyer like look!

I love it. This is a great addition. If a may suggest 1 or 2 less turrets. Since the most power ful unlawfule gunboat is the Corsair gunboat, which we must assume they put all thier coin into makeing it a death machine maybe this one can scale back the guns just a tiny bit or 6 gunboat turrets and 2 transport turrets.

Just an idea. If nothing gets changed I still love it.

EDIT: On second thought guns dont have to be scaled back fireing archs can do the job I saw where the second top turrets is and I dont see it fireing forward. So, if that was the plan nevermind.

What is always concerning me, are the miltaristic terms for Junker vessels coming up. That sounds like "Orbital Spa and Cruise gunboat".

So why not naming it a "Light Salvage Vehicle" LSV?

Because you get a Medium Salvage Vehicle, the Salvage frigate and a Heavy Salvage Vehivle, the Barge (eventually).

Both you cannot count as warships, since they will remain weak. They are for collecting scrap not to overrun a house. I would like to see this model right in one line with them. Means, if gb turrets, then 4 at a maximum for defensive purposes. 8 turrets is too much.
Junkers solve troubles mostly with cleverness than firepower.

Thats my opinion.

For the model itself. Beside the arms, if you want to leave the mainhull with lesser detail of the model, then i recommend to spend the skin more details

The idea was using firing arcs. 8 turrets for all round fire but at best getting no more than 4 guns trained on the target. It is not, and never was, designed for pure combat. But it must be able to defend itself from the more common threats.

well - junkers ASK for military gear more and more ... but they don t get it:laugh:.

the salvage frigate is still supposed to only have 3 turrets. - and i just don t know why a junker gunboat should even have as many turrets as the upcoming zoner gunboat ( thats 4 turrets ) ... a junker that has to fight has done something wrong, - they re not even living in the outworlds and being attacked by nomads.

but seriously ... i really think a junker gunboat shouldn t be comparable to any military grade ship of the same class. ( so never 6 turrets, but maybe 4 )

You guys can limit Junker military gear all you want it doesnt matter. Only thing that will cause is Junkers that want a strong fighting ship will fly a corsiar gunboat or IMG gunboat. So nerf the guns on this if you want but the Junkers that want a stronger ship will still get one.

I say give it the standard 6 turrets every other gunboat has. If it has transport turrets then just make it another transport and call it a day.

Edit:Oh I forgot the Zoner gunboat made by a group of people with even less enemies than Junkers but someone have powerful warships :wacko:

I dont say give it transport turrets. I say give it transport turrets AND gunboat turrets. Or limit fireing archs to 4-6 guns per target vector. I also think the Junker might require more guns than ZOners, as they deal with tougher crowds. We have moved and evolved far past vinella Junkers.
