The only ship in the bunch that I dont like is the VHF... compared to the others, it just doesnt fit - and I know in your infocard you said it's because they're taken care of better than the others, but... it looks so 'clean' and high tech compared to the rest. Still, if these get added, I can definitely see myself making characters for the heavy fighter and bomber, and maybe even the transport... though I dont see much need for a xeno transport, considering nobody likes them enough to let them dock.

The Transport is for 're purposing' supplies from hostile convoys. Anyway, looking at the Black Widow bomber, the spikes on the cockpit seem to be sat in front of the torpedo tubes. It looks like any ordinance that got launched would explode right next to the ship, which isn't a particularly clever survival trait.
Is that just the angle, or are those spikes actually in the way?

there's no torpedo tube... what you probably mistaken for torpedo tubes are the secondary engine pods, in about the same position they are on the Roc II. the torpedo emplacement would in fact be the on dorsal platform.
