Besides we already have system which star bew up. Omega 41.
And about destroying stations, was that what you ment ? - big NO
stations would likely go down with star. planets may survive with a lost atmosphere and seared surface. Nomads can blow up stars (im sure they CAN).
Haha, we should all just dump all the names of systems on the table, delete them all, keep Connecticut, and have a giant free for all brawl near the asteroid field where everyone gets 500 million credits and every ship is on any station in anywhere.
WOO HOO YEAAAAAAAAHH.
edit: any station or planet that wasn't blown to dust by subsequent nomad "sun bombings" lolwut.
edit2: best idea ever i fully support this

(not really)

Why, wouldn't that be smart? Destroy New York and completely kill one of the most nostalgic systems that we as the people who have played this game in SP have ever known?
This is the not the idea of "rebalancing the cool way", destroying the main system of any house is not "rebalancing" it's just destroying an important part of the whole infrastructure of the whole house, and reeking havoc all across the surrounding systems. I think this is just a ridiculous idea to cripple a house into easy conquering for the rival house.
As serious as this thread seems to be about the destruction of Sirius, can this please be moved to Flood? We could make teh epic lulz. +1
Anyway, what he seems to be suggesting is the random removal of one random system just so travel will be different/take longer, which has no point whatsoever.
