There exists delicate balance but practically nothing prevents them from deciding it's not too convenient to trust their direct competitor and take over Hawaii and just deal with Corsairs directly under new management. And nothing you will do about it.
Yes, there is one reason why they use your Hawaii as a place to exchange artifacts - because it was the only non-GMG base in Sigmas, which is not true anymore with new Corsair bases in the region. You don't have any other role in the deal.

Take over the Hawaii? oh hmm what could stop them about this? Maybe the other Houses? Houses like Rheinland or Bretonia that would love to have a Excuse to Blow the Shit out ot Kusari? Or Maybe Gallia that would like to have a Excuse to take Revenge? Orbital Liners are Full of pepole from all over sirius, and a Takeover wouldnt go without Casualties. You know houses that Orbital haves a Influence into and could Loby a Revenge.
Okay i have talked with luas and tbh i have calmed off a bit now. but i still find the Lore as a Liner Is stupid and should be changed. But actualy its nothing to Cause a war about. At Least as long as the DEVs Dont Decided to Flood Kusari with Samura/Hogosha Liners and make us Competition in the Sigmas and Taus.

Do you know how much I wanted full blown Luxury Wars? Samura bombing liners out in the sigmas would make some truly engaging news posts. Curacao declaring "vengeance" on Kusari, Naval Forces ambushing shuttles, all with a running back and forth smear campaign over who's vacation service is "safer". It would be the most engaging storytelling since the Spyglass at least, and if done right this Luxury War could be up there with the Tundra or the Necrosis.
I hate you pacifists, defusing situations when an escalated situation could be so much more interesting. Argument defusers take all the potential out of the game.
