Now then, this is not an attack on a rival faction in the slightest, nor an attempt to promote the competition, which shall remain unnamed. The aim of this post is to point out the illogical nature of giving out bonus points to factions, merely for copy/pasting or paraphrasing the contents of the NPC group's infocards and history.
Now, the idea of an official faction is to represent the ideals of it's parent NPC group, then expand on and evolve that roleplay. Currently the [C] is a decent representation, simply because what appears to be zero imagination has been applied to its creation. Yes, you are the Council, but you are also cardboard when it comes to unique flavour. I'm afraid to say, as a critic who is attempting to remain impartial, that the material is simply boring; merely jazzed up by graphics.
I would prefer to see your own take on Council lore. Something mildly original - something you yourself have created. I know normally this would not be a mandatory requirement, seeing as factions have got by with less in the past, but I'm afraid you are in direct competition with another faction. The name of the game is adapt or die, with logical development of lore, based within the boundaries of Council cannon appearing to be the best way to go about it.
Moving off from the above quibbles, I have another for you regarding the rank slide graphics (which by the way, I approve of in theory as good original work). It's just the icons selected appear a little... Odd, and random. Up to and including Lieutenant makes sense, but Captaine and above seems strange. For example, the Captaine and Commandant appear to be using a 5 leafed clover, while to be frank the Colonel and General slides make you look like Corsairs. Of course, that is a relatively minor issue, and relates to presentation as opposed to lore.
Now, finally, moving away from lore and presentation to focus on something else - your faction activity. Your roster looks good and well - great even, but, I would like to know how many of your members are active, or even members of the faction any more. To quote but one, I noticed "Marianne Lavoie [Dancing Lady]", with Dancing Lady even stating in this thread that she is no longer a member.
I would be interested in seeing a faction rollcall, as I am sure, many others would be. After all, the [C] has only recently revived itself from inactivity, and I'd like to know who didn't come back with it.
And yes, consider this an end to a list of +1 support posts. :P

Sorry jammi but I fail to see what is the purpose to post this-
I will give you simple example:
You say the NPC Council ideas/goals matches the [C] ideas witch according to you is boring and not good.
I say NPC Liberty Navy ideas/goals matches the [LN] witch according to me is not good because I think that they must be allies with Outcasts and smuggle cardamine in Dreads and LABC in order to be different from the NPC faction. It looks quite useless and illogical.

I must go against you on this one jammi. Maybe not all of mentioned members in roster are active, but neither are yours (RdG). I dont think that roster really matters now, because min. 5 [C] members are active if not more. Unlike RdG's... 5 members active is all what faction needs to gain official status.

Also, about using council infocards....
If you can notice, most of factions, representing NPC faction which wields the same name, are using basics (if not more) of the one mentioned npc faction. Doesnt really matter if it is story, faction's description or RP alone...
New stuff should come, when there is another faction creation of the same npc faction in progress.

Govedo, you obviously missed something. Jammi isn't saying that [C] is bad because of his opinion of them. He's simply stating that if you're going through the effort of creating an Official Faction, you shouldn't be able to just copy/paste the bland ideas that the NPC faction was based on. If you're going through all this, why not make it your own creation, a Faction delightfully unique from any other. This could be through organization, backstory, gameplay, ANYTHING that gives the faction a twist of it's own. Like so:

The keyword is Canon (Typo in his quote, >.>" Meaning is the same), as in to say that the NPC Council backstory is a great FOUNDATION for your own story. You can argue that some of the bigger factions, like the BAF or LN are too 'rigid' and 'bland', but I would argue that that's only because they're So DEFINED in the original story, that there isn't much room for improvisation. That is not the case here.
Anyways, I just wish to clear up this misconception. And to close it up, I'll use your examples.

I say NPC Liberty Navy ideas/goals matches the [LN] witch according to me is Okay because They can't Help it (And for the record, they are not just complete Carbon Copies).
Edited in White for accuracy.

EDIT: "New stuff should come, when there is another faction creation of the same npc faction in progress." That's exactly what's happening, which is why they should do MORE than just the bare minimum in terms of story.

You misunderstood me. If one proposal follows description of npc Council, which is original form of council, it is the second proposal, who has to come up with something different.
Teschy decided to harvest from what was already created. Ethan had such choice as well.
Edit:
PS: Epic avvy Nero. Welcome back btw.

Nero thank you for the edit. But allow me please at least to have my own opinion ok?
Since my name is not in one of both rosters I guess that my position is rather neutral and I comment only what I can see.
I am quite sure that you both with jammi are in one "other competing faction" roaster and posting here with such attitude is not right in my opinion- it is not the right thing that I and others see as "fair completion"- that's all. I want to thank you again and if you have some concerns about my opinion you can always use my PM box.
I hope that such kind of discussions will end here right now because it is faction request not flood or flaming topic. Thank you.

I see what you mean. I apologize for misconstruing your words, and I can somewhat agree with what you're saying. Also, Thanks for the Compliment and the Welcome ^^
@Govedo
Chill a bit... Like you said, this is not a flaming topic, and all I did was comment on a misconception of yours upon what my Friend had said. Obviously there's bias in any debate, but I do try and see things from an objective point of view, and I'd appreciate it if you would try and see that.
Now then, off to Nom Nom on the last of the Nilla wafers.
And I can't leave without an actual review, so Overall, A pretty solid Faction Request, albeit a bit bland for my tastes, and spiced up with some amazing looking graphics (The rank sigs are pretty cool in my book ^^)
