' Wrote:Fly via Colorado to New York, using the jump hole, sell it on Manhattan when the activity is low, or on a Rogue base when the activity is high. The profit is still good. (But yeah, I know what you mean).
But some better cardo routes to Cali would be nice. Currently the best route is to Versailles Residence, a GRP base, in IDF. The profit is low-medium and it doesn't make sense to sell it there, since the gallics have NOX and cardamine maybe should be imported to Gallia via an unlawful faction, maybe the brigands (Since they're they only gallic faction which isn't totally hostile to the OCs).
Try landing on Manhattan when you have an Outcast ID.
Cardi smuggling needs a pretty huge buff. Very long trade routes with relatively few destination systems actually worth it (NY, Alberta, MAYBE Pennsylvania) and even then it's not even worth the money to set up a smuggler.

I assumed you use a FL ID when smuggling cardamine to Manhattan. Otherwise, if you use OC ID, just fly off-lanes (the profit at those bases where you can dock with a OC ID is still good). No problem, lazylns wont catch you. Most times. Yeah.
More activity from Council of Dons.
And solve case with Bretonia. Or we are allies and have them neutral without docking rights, or we are enemies. Second option means make fullscale cooperation with Mollies against Bret lawfulls.
Actually both should be done now, not when 4.87 will be realesed.
I quite curious what was a reasons of making Outcast - Corsair allience?
they are enemies in Vanilla, they are enemies in Disco. Im not against alliance and not with it. I just wanna know what is reasons?
also, so low OC numbers when we had Sabre/Kraken nerf meant only one - most of OCs were just PvP whores
They aren't enemies in vanilla. There were occasionally fights in the Sigmas over smuggling routes and piracy hot-spots but outside of that they were pretty much neutral to one another.
Sabres and Krakens are both still excellent, stop crying about them.
Unification of Hispania house. There is just no actuall reason for outcasts to fight with corsairs apart from mutual hate which was caused by pointless war and unending prickwaving.
What would make the faction intresting? I do not know for sure. But I think it has something to do with reletivly solids and temeperate stance of the faction. There is just not enough brutality like we have lets say.. in corsairs. This limits the possible roleplay choices of character behaviuor, which by it's own reduces the interest of playing oc faction.
Depending on what the Devs decide to do to Gallia, I'd be interested in that. We got a base there already.
We have unique opportunities to fight them (a backdoor straight to their home), something other houses (like Bretonia) ought to appreciate - if they are interested in winning the war with Gallia, that is.
Also with the +LE+ gone we might be able to get some "proper" brigands who might be interested in interacting with Outcasts. At least they are not rephacked hostile.
Again this depends on what happens to Gallia - if Gallia stays the same (a big mess full of contradictions - Council are rephacked hostile, Solar and other corporations are neutral. Makes no sense), there's no point in elaborating on that.
On a more general level I would like to see the Outcasts in 4.87 as more of a political entity. In lore, this is really what is laid out for the Outcasts, being "puppet masters" through Cardamine and being highly developed intellectually and technologically. I'd like diplomacy to get softened up, so it is at least possible to explore this inrp. Perhaps add an exclusion to Bretonia in regards to piracy on the ID.
Also perhaps rearranging the jumpholes so there's easy access to Corsair land again, but that the Sairs should have a say in that too naturally. As I recall it, most of the raiding was done in good spirit, but the Sairs do have a lot on their plate at the moment so perhaps they arent interested in bringing back the OC-Sair brawls.
Remove some of the asteroids from Tau-23 - surely the miners have chewed through some of them. With bases and stationary battleships every 10 meters this system is already horrible.
To be honest, I am not on top of current diplomacy with GC's (I reckon they dislike us but are bound by lore to not do anything), but perhaps sneak in a OC base somewhere in Kusari if that wont upset things too much.
As for ships, if we do get our own fighter/bomber line, make the ships fast and responsive. It sucks that we have to use standard mediocre bw fighter/bomber technology when the factions we fight have their own - and better - stuff. Outcast ships with Nyx/Pytho stats and size/shape would be swell. Or Lynx/Cougar stats:D
Keep the Sarissa's stats and size, but buff the Cargo and make it into a carrier.
Make the centre heavy turret on the Storta 360 degrees and reduce the two heavy side turrets to forward-ish angles.
That was all I could think of. Buff cardamine trade a bit, and add more stations buying.
Quote:also, so low OC numbers when we had Sabre/Kraken nerf meant only one - most of OCs were just PvP whores
Especially when most of those outcast you mentioned were flying on dreads not Sabres. Those who were flying on Sabres are still there;)
Quote:I'd like to see them stop pretending to be a military and start being pirates as they should.
Actually OC are 'house faction'. So OC need somekind of military. If you want OC act like pirates take away caps. In other way no chance for that - which is sad in some point...
