Don't try to bully me. I wasn't there today, but I been there a lot of times on both sides, so my perspective is just as valid as yours.
back on track
whats the point of this thread? does it serve a purpose that could not be done in-rp (either a decree from [LN] to not fight rheinland, pressure on freeport administrators and so on)? if its just venting, why not skype? its really not good with all this unnecessary bad blood.

The point of this thread is to find a solution.
Why in the world would the [LN] put a decree saying to stop fighting Rheinland? I sincerely doubt all the Rheinland indies should suffer the consequences of your actions. It was not created in some sort of sophisticated attempt at flaming or trolling you, as it's been proved by the last three pages where we've been discussing it.
The point is that this situation is bound to explode in one way or another very soon and that's something nobody wants to happen considering it's not like we're a MMORPG counting one million of subscribers, but a small community. If we're incapable of solving these problems in an effort to keep it integer and a good environment to play in then we're bound for severe issues.
What I really want is "You tell me that they're invadeing right now? My response would be "Again? I'll only log if atleast 5 others log as well." Its not just me either." to stop, and return to how it was previously. I'm pretty sure you would prefer to have pvp rather than fighting the soon to be inexistant Liberty fleet in Texas considering how it's going.

I think that is partly the point. But more of the hope of venting calm and collectivly rather than rageing about it.
I think, or atleast hopeing, this thread is about pointing this out to the RNC indies who do raid Texas every day. Making sure they understand WHY we get frustrated dureing these fights. I spose you could say its constructive criticism, like a faction feedback.
I just hope that some of the guys who are leading these RNC raids read these comments and understand what exactly they are doing that makes us hate them.
Like I said, these fights may actually be more interesting if they wern't so freqent and were a bit more diverse in what they bring. The only time I've found these battles interesting is when whoever's in charge of the LN forces at the time decides to do something different to try make the battle more interesting and more fair. The battle last Saturday would be a good example of this, and thanks Savi again for that rather interesting idea that actually won us the fight.
As long as taking your fun at the expense of someone else isn't acted upon, we will witness things like this.
How can one expect the community to get better when respectless behaviors aren't sanctioned?
There is a thing called empathy, which is about putting yourself in someone else shoes, trying to feel how he feels.
Ask yourself if it would be fun for you to meet an overkill squadron leaving you zero chance to actually do something, and experiencing it everyday.
Some people just shrug and pack up their things. Others decide to go down to their offender level.
Can we afford to reach the point where the ones who actually bother to be fair will be fed and choose either of those two solutions?
Just because thats where the fight ended doesn't mean thats where it started.
If I'd know this story a bit less, then I'd say your information is somehow incorrect. But since I saw logs with my own eyes, I can freely say that you, sir, are lying.
Won't continue on that since that'll turn into Trial.
Btw, if moderators reads this - can Reptile get his account activated (he cant get it activated for third day), please, so he would be able to post. Since it's him we're talking about here.
It's a bit like the little neighborhood kid that comes around every day wanting to do something. Except he brings 10 of his friends and a retarded little beagle dog that chases my cat. I used to talk to him but now I just close the drapes and act like I'm not home. That's what its like.

Exactly Yao!
Now this whole thing reminds me a lot of the raid gamma every day drama.
Actually it's totally similar , people got angry , started to hate the other side , mud was slinged to each other , in every way a very bad situation.
A lack of empathy was the root of this problem.
It's difficult to empathise with a collection of pixels that only say's ''open fire''.
It is way more constructive to have oorp talks on skype between the attackers and the defenders.
Initially these talks will be flamy , these talks will not be pleasant.
But in given time , with the instant feedback that doesn't go via the forum moderation/filter, everything can be said.
That way eventually people will realise that they are dealing with other people, people will cut down on the level of asshattery and people will get used to each other.
Its a difficult process but it's better than to keep a situation at boiling point and not doing anything about it.
I'm not sure if this is the solution for the current situation , but it eventually solved the sair/hessian conflict.
Important is not to praise hatemongerers but to point out their silly childish behaviour , so peer pressure calms them down.

Isn't fairplay supposed to be the priority?
Is this sort of a joke?
If not, please, can all Liberty, especially [LN] fighters nerf their snub skill to RNC capship players level, so RNC capship players will be able to get fun in snub fights as well? It's not fair to fight with such a skill difference, I have no chance to win against anyone without putting alot of effort into training, no chance at all.
I'm not even sure if I need to place a sarcasm tag here.
Or those pesky CGS that ganked my poor LABC in Cali some time ago, together with a carrier and another fighter. I totally enjoyed that fight, though - since it was my decision to log into LABC and move into it.

there is enough "RNC haters" to pull it off with ease
As one of RNC fleetcoms, I'd vote for that option with my both hands and legs, if it'll affect Liberty morale and give em some fighting spirit.
