no.
coz they not mining, they not producing any resources, they not have any trade lines for corporation ships ways..anyway,if u dont know what difference between gypsies and country with borders and etc. - this is your problem. I am not your teacher,to tell you all.

Yes, I thought as much. I am not looking for you to tell me, just show that you don't know. Thanks for not disappointing me, Reptile.
For centuries, the Colonials had a prosperous existence in the Crayter system where they were able to develop many technologies including capital class vessels.
The sleeper ships that they arrived in the Omegas with were fairly well-armoured and armed (I would assume) and were their original tools as Planetform's private army along with their Eros fighters.
Then, for over a decade now, they have had their own system rich in resources and existed as effectively one mini-nation along with the IMG. The IMG have plenty of money, from their mining (CR ID actually could mine Niobium in the past too) and still share that with the Colonials today. Singapore was and still is the biggest shipyard in the Taus, and until the Gauls came was owned by the Colonials.
Tau-44 was alive with trade back in the day, and even now they have free trade access from Coronado with Bretonia and Liberty, mostly dealing in Deuterium.
So these "gypsies" (nice word choice there) are probably one of the most fitting of their own caps, after the houses and Order, then perhaps the Corsairs and Outcasts.

thats not a reason. Instead of crying for a faction to lose their battleship because you probably had a bad experience with said faction you might wanna build up your reasoning past "lul not my job, figure it out yourself" as it stands the CR does have the manpower / build capabilities that many factions do not have.
meh, then you want to say that:
Niobium ore export is more cost and needed for houses (than) > imports of hfuel + engine components for ships + food + water + ship hull panels + basic alloy (for base construction\ship construction) + oxygen + weapon production + super alloys + robotics + mining machinery + consumer goods + wine\tobacco\tea\rice + other.
So you want say that niobium ore is cost more than all specter of good in Rheinland?
This is mean that economics of CR is = or > than economics of Rheinland.
This is mean that CR is more technologically advanced and have a higher rate of productivity than the Rhineland with his multibillion-mining of diamonds, silver, copper, cobalt, etc.
This is mean that Niobium ore is cost more than diamonds + silver + copper + cobalt.
This is mean that niobium ore is =\= 10 000 for unit, because diamonds + silver + copper + cobalt = near 40 000 for 4 units.
This is mean that niobium ore is cost more > than 40 000 of credits.
Then why miner in Dublin, which have GOLD,cannot build BS?
is gold cost lower than Niobium?
P.S. btw. This is mean, that if price so high of niobium ore, this is mean ALL need it? Rheinland\liberty\bretonia\kusary\gallia...this is mean that this resource is needed more than even h-fuel\mox?
If not...so this is mean that GMG can build BS too.
Why not? All need in sirius hfuel for flying,no fuel = no trading = dead economics.
So i want GMG BS too.
Thank you for listening short lesson of economics. You can go home children's
Send your donations for this lessons to www.karlmarx.com. *smiles*

I'll set the teacher some homework: read the infocards for Tau-44 and the stations in it. Read about how IMG mines more than just Niobium, even the magical "cost more Gold" :O The Colonials got a lot of their funding through them, and in fact were deployed in most of the same areas (Omega Turf Wars etc.) Alliances with GMG and having companies like Maersk and IND on your side work wonders too.
Nowhere did I claim that the Colonials were better than Rheinland which is your 'area of RP expertise'. Using ooRP economy balancing numbers isn't the way to go.
Also, you can't eat Gold. Selling it to Gallia is fair enough, and as I mentioned in my first post, the Mollys are in a good position to build caps these days.
GMG could make caps but chose not to because of their lessons in bomber swarm. The Colonials were actually a pretty similar structure to them: owning a system with a habitable planet, a good trade economy (albeit not as good, even with IMG added in perhaps), war with the Outcasts.
I do apologise to everyone for infecting this thread with Reptile.
I also wouldn't be surprised if MNS is the flavour of the month, even if they have to make a demand of us first.
In general, it was interesting to count the number of inhabitants of each fraction at their bases and planets. And if we take the original aspect ratio of the population / economy / development Gallia space (just because I'm more than sure that there are most people) - will be such that the illegals are woudn't be able to build a BS, but would not be able to contain at least one BS. They lack of sufficient staff and trade. Trade and industry is not only goods, but also a population which it is engaged.
And by the way, it is still a game. It is full of far-fetched.
Also, where is the Liberty Rogues planets for example? Planets has agriculture, bases doesn't. They eat they own people or they steal very huge supplies?
I'm very sure that the Discovery has balanced for PvP servers. And Discovery RP server there is something unusual.
disco =\= logic.
no logic = no balance.
no balance = qq about factions
qq about factions = adding new ships for balancing = more dis-balance in game.
Meh,Corsairs on BSs. Where they taking so many fuel for flying? repairs for ships,food\water\oxy.
If they pirated it - then how many must produce corporations goods for supplying all corsair empire on capital ships? This is mean, that house of Corsairs and house of OC pirating GMG for hfuel, but GMG not need battleships for defending so big loses of fuel. Where is the logic? That GMG supplying with their fuel 2 houses for zero credits and not need BS for defending their mining stations.
Meh,this is the point, that Corsairs and other pirate factions cannot use BSs,because their imports of goods are bigger, than exports some mythic artifacts.
But who cares? Devs team trying to fix it(joke).
But answer is simple - remove cap ships from factions which cannot have them - or simply dont need it. Which cannot build them - have no resources. Which cannot USE them - have no fuel and cannot import so many fuel on simple freighters from 5-7 systems without trade lines. Which cannot repair them - they have no resources and service personal for such types of ships.
And what we will have in the end? - YES! The balance! Convoy can defend from pirates snubs\gb\tresher-type cruisers and game will be balanced. We will have real convoys, real pro raids on snubs against house ships and etc. Pirates will do diversions against fat fleets of houses, and will fight in shadow, how it was before.
So RP balance will be = PvP balance.
No more 3 BSs and 1 cruiser which destroying convoys in few seconds.
All answers are simple. just add little logic in game, dont add big ships from nothing.
