Not getting the blue is not an automatic point that has to be given and this prevalence of wanting them given when they haven't been scored has gone way too far lately.

Someone intentionally killing themselves to deny a point is against the rules and should be reported if there is evidence of it, otherwise if the kill wasn't scored then the point shouldn't be given. Sometimes the point isn't scored due to whatever reason, but in the end between each side of an event it balances itself out naturally.
