[9:22:56 PM] Felix Larouche (ProwlerPC): a sign of confidence, we are all not privileged enough to judge our own selves. Instead we have others as markers. It shows a reflection in some strengths too. I took notice of the speed in which GMG| became official when we applied. Took only 4 or 5 days. Others took note too though and I've had my fingers in 6, I believe, faction status's that went official
[9:23:16 PM] Felix Larouche (ProwlerPC): I was gonna mention that in that thread about indy and faction interaction
[9:23:23 PM] Felix Larouche (ProwlerPC): I've long been a faction player
[9:23:52 PM] Felix Larouche (ProwlerPC): and I've supported soo many indies and unofficial groups that I've watched them grow from 3 members to full official factionhood
[9:24:06 PM] Felix Larouche (ProwlerPC): if that's not good interaction
[9:24:09 PM] Felix Larouche (ProwlerPC): I'm missing the point
I also in the belief that Faction Rights be wiped away and would undoubtedly believe the same in Independant Rights. There is Player Rights for all.
There is nothing wrong with Indy players. Without them there would be very little life to the server. There are good and bad fruit on both sides of the fence. Get use to it.
Good question Svarog,are we?
We all started as an indy, good official members help indy, bad members only complain about the Indy... but I believe that those same <strike>smart </strike>official m. were the biggest lolwuts at the beginning...! :P
Ok. I say, we have bad Indy, but we also have good...:)
I think the server is good as it is. It doesn't need changes in the matter of it's community. As a personal opinion, I really enjoy the server, even with the unfair things that happen sometimes, this is Discovery, and be proud of it...

Here is one thing that keeps me from posting an application to join an "official faction".
All the personal flaming and attacks that go on between people in opposing factions that are not part of the Role Play of the game.
I have read a number of threads about one incident or another between groups, only to see those threads degrade from thoughtful discussion about a game and its characters vs character aspect and spiral down into the Person vs Person realm and then get locked.
Some of you even seem to be enjoying your selves antagonizing each other, like your whole day is made better by finding a way to piss on someone else's parade.
Join one faction, and get trolled and flamed by another. Join the opposing faction and the same thing happens in reverse.
After reading some of the things "Official Faction" members have posted and the views that they have expressed about each other, there is no way I would want to join any of those factions, and be included into the mud throwing, slander and over all bad vibes that float around.
Some of you are so proud of your "Tag" and your "PvP/RP" skills that you let it get the best of you and you forget that this is only a game.
Passion and competitiveness are good things, but there comes a time when it goes over the line and reflects badly on us all, Official and Indie alike.

Cheers&Respects to you all, Indie or not.

Well I cannot speak for the others but only for myself. I am general indie player. I am around since a bit let say around 2 years and I currently am not part of any official faction. This however dont stops me to play together with them. I really dont see any problem in being faction player or indie player.
I personally prefer to be indie because I cannot be active enough to be part of the faction( due to my real life issues I can have 20 hours per week for freelancer for 2 or 3 weeks then I dont log for 1 or 2 months or so.)
I try to be nice with everyone and to respond according their actions not according their faction tags.
The funny part is that there is certain line that must not be crossed when we speak for lolwuts.
For me new player who break the rules because he is not aware of them, or young kid who wants to play the game but he is RUSS and dont understand English is also not so much lolwut...
I somehow am willing to excuse this players for their behaviour because they could read the rules and not break them, or learn some basic English.
On the other hand I see much worst things from faction players/factions who are here from a long long time.
For such long time they forgot that this is actually a game witch purpose is not to enlarge your ego, but to entertain yourself. This is only virtual world, it actually doesn't matter if you win or loose...
Tons of personal bias/hate/not u/trolling each other/forumlancer/PvP-whoring/Ganking/Meta-Gaming/Power-Gaming. There are are people/factions who hate each other so much that if you put them in one room they will start to fight each other... for a game.. hell see this topic you fight even here.... So yea... please stop hating each other- it is a game after all..
