I have some news that may be of interest to the Armed Command and the Senat. While on patrol in the Tau-23 system with one of our contractors, I ran into a quartet of Congress vessels returning from Tau-37. Now normally I would expect every reason to put them down given their sniffer affiliations, but these vessels were empty of that vile weed they so frequently attempt to run past us. Curious as to why they would risk being found in our territory with not even the chance for profit, I asked what their purpose was. The response was quite surprising!
[20.03.2015 05:34:18] .:j:.Hephaestus|Bill: An we aim to pick up some of this here Niobium.
[20.03.2015 05:34:32] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere.: Oui? Pick it up off of whom?
[20.03.2015 05:35:00] .:j:.Hephaestus|Bill: Ain't none of yer business where we git it.
[20.03.2015 05:35:17] .:j:.Juan_Sanchez: We're doing business with IMG
[20.03.2015 05:35:18] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere.: Well, if you're robbing people like the Marauders do, it is.
[20.03.2015 05:35:38] .:j:.Hephaestus|Bill: We ain't robbin no one.
[20.03.2015 05:35:53] .:j:.Hephaestus|Bill: We pay good credits fer what we haul.
[20.03.2015 05:37:03] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere.: The IMG are allowing you to access their bases?
[20.03.2015 05:37:09] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere.: That seems, well, not quite believable.
Given that several months ago I submitted an intel report to the IMG|, who paid me quite well for that, I was understandably incredulous! We made sure to collect an escort fee from the vessels in question and followed them into the Tau-39 system, where lo and behold, they were given clearance to dock at Fort Siloso! I recorded them with holds full of ore too!
I am dismayed that our associates in the Independent Miner's Guild would open their doors to the very same people we have proven time again to them run that vile weed for the enemy they claim to hate so much! It is as if they wish to spit upon our efforts to keep the Outcast menace in check! I am not a Royalist, but we must consider things in terms of Narcisse's comment.
Quote:[20.03.2015 05:47:30] Narcisse.Archimbaute: Sometimes I do wonder how much the crown would pay for this information.
I'm sure we can resolve this without coming to this though, oui?
I wish to report a disturbing series of events that occurred today while I was on patrol. I'm sure that the Senat will find this information most interesting!
While watching out for our interests in the north of Gallia, I was accosted by a vessel hailing from the Blood Dragons. You may remember me having made a report about our first encounter with these Kusarians some months back. Anyway, the young lady in question question claimed to be their leader now, some position they call show-goon, I think. She stated that she was in Gallia to find and talk with us, to address their unwarranted hostility towards us. I was rather skeptical of the whole thing from the start! The show-goon claimed that the person who gave the attack order was no longer in charge, and that they were not the same Blood Dragons we've run into in the past. I was as cool as could be given that I wanted to show her in kind what I thought of that!
The most startling revelation, however, came as I was looking to escort her out of Gallia. When asked why they had originally attacked us, she said that it was because they were paid to do so by the Junker's Congress! The filthy weed hauling sniffer friends were behind the attacks the whole time! Quite upset over this revelation, I made haste to see to her departure, only for a warship of theirs to appear as well! The whole thing was a setup from the start! I immediately raised a system wide alarm and called for support! I trailed them out until I confirmed the support of Madame Maxim was en route, and then disrupted the warship. I made sure to raise the local Royalist garrison for support as well. Madame Maxim's vessel fell, but we were able to sufficiently delay the Dragons for a Royal Navy cruiser to arrive on station. After a summary investigation the Royals determined that the invaders were to be destroyed. I supported this effort and the warship and the show-goon's vessel were taken out with only moderate damage to the Royalist vessel! Madame Maxim was returned safely, as well.
I've been back on Java Station for some hours now, and still the thought that these Dragons are friends with the filthy trashmen makes me livid! The show-goon also stated publicly that they oppose our friends in Samura Heavy Industries. I think we should work more diligently to assist our Samura and Hogosha friends in putting these Junker lovers in their place!

Sujet:Activity in Taus
Bonjour,
This is Aspirant Villeneuve reporting in to update the Senateurs of the current situation in the Taus:
After taking a short break from moving goods to our bases around Gallia and toward Rheinland, I decided to head set course for Tau-23 system as I had it on good authority from various sources that there has been high volume of smugglers passing through our territory and heading toward Outcast space.
I set out to assess the situation myself. One thing is for sure, this high activity had many groups on alert: IMG, KNF, Royal Navy, Crayterians and even freelancers.
I began my patrol from the Orkney jumphole toward the Tau-37 and then finally the Tau-29 jumphole looking for these smugglers supplying the competition. I had flown past the Kysushu jumphole when I detected a Montante class gunship locking on to my position and firing cruise disruptors and making demands way beyond his abilities. What is even more shocking is the fact that the captain of this ship, bearing the callsign GrapHook, opened fire right away at which point myself and a member of the secondary fleet of the GRN, whom was not too amused by the gunships presence either, began carving out his shield and hull. This GrapHook, attempted to, poorly I may add, use Glaives on multiples occassions but to no avail. I managed to place a well-timed SNAC shot on his badly damaged hull and the GRN pilot finished him off with a few salvos of his cannons.
Perhaps it is time to reinforce our position in this region to show these maniacs who truly controls the Taus.
Later, I decided to scout Tau-31. I ran into a Royal Navy bomber who had just intercepted an Outcast transport and seemed to have his hands quite full with intercepting smugglers. I had a brief chat with him outside of New Tours. He seemed very interested in acquiring information about Nox and how to purchase it for personal use. Of course, I told him we don't know where to acquire it or even touch Nox. I'm back on Montelimar now and will be departing for Provence in a few hours.

Sujet:Tau Patrol Report
Bonjour,
This is Aspirant Villeneuve reporting in with another debrief from my recent patrol of the Lyonnais border into Dauphine, Languedoc, Tau-23 and back.
Upon entering Dauphine from the Lyonnais system, I detected one IDF tagged transport hauling Aluminium ore seemingly heading toward the Languedoc jumpgate. So I decided to follow this vessel and see where its heading exactly.
Reaching the Remoulins debris field, two additional ships were detected on scanners: another IDF transport and a pirate! In Languedoc. I have to say I admire this one's ambitions coming this far into Corse turf. The pirate began extorting the IDF convoy for credits totally oblivious to my presence and the fact that no one is allowed to make such demands in our space. The panicky IDF convoy of course refused the pirate's demands and began performing defensive maneuvers at which point they were more than happy to accept my assistance.
Finally realizing the big mistake, the pirate engaged cruise speed after firing off a few salvos at one of the transports and flew out of range of cruise disruptors. I'll be watching extra careful for this one. I think this one needs to learn a lesson for intruding Corse turf. The pirate was also flying an interesting ship, similar to those of the Hessians I've seen when running trade mission to Rheinland. Oh I almost forgot to add, the IDF convoy leader wired a sum of 2.000.000 credits for scaring off the pirate.
I decided to end my patrol on Java, but upon entering Tau-23 the convoy was again disrupted by another opportunist flying under the Privateer flag. This one was much wiser and backed off. Another 2.000.000 were wired to my account by the IDF captain. I have to say not a bad pay day for just flying a normal patrol route. Maybe next time I'll have to raise the "escort" fee a little bit.
I was also contacted by a mysterious individual offering a partnerships of some sorts in the Taus. At the time I had my hands full with the privateer and the convoy, though I will keep an eye out for this individual and see what it is they are offering.
I flew to Java to resupply and headed back to Dauphine to end my patrol.

Sujet:Languedoc Operation, Yet Another IDF Encounter
Bonsoir,
This is Villeneuve reporting with another status report regarding the situation in Taus and the recent spark in already existing hostilities between the Royalist forces and The Council in the Languedoc system.
First things first, I'm sure the Senateurs are aware of the recent concerted efforts by the anti-royalist forces on Marne to further destabilize the royalist, especially in the Languedoc system on Planet Quillan. The Council forces were spreading large volume of "propaganda" (take that as lightly as you will) destined for the population of Quillan. It seems the Royalists have grown complacent, the usual patrol routes were not exactly well guarded, I might add. I won't get into the specifics, but I managed to smuggle a sizeable amount, close to 30000+ crates planet side without attracting any attention from the authorities; I think I was so cautious during the last few runs that I forgot to activate the guncam. I have to say it was a rather profitable run between Quillan and the core worlds, that may have been one of the reasons why I encountered so many vessels of Sirian origins in the border worlds hauling large amounts of Council's special cargo and even using the most obvious route to Quillan. Amateurs I say. In any case, I hope this should gain us some...leverage in the future.
I had yet another encounter with same IDF convoy I've been running into for the past couple of weeks. Their corporate routes seem to match that of the GRN and thus attracts quite a bit unwanted attention to this group, so much so that I received an escort request back to Picardy on long range comms while on patrol in the Tau-23 system. This is becoming a rather regular occurrence, I think it could lead to a beneficial deal for both parties and a lucrative one for the Corse.
[19.10.2016 19:32:00] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: This is the IDF Shipping vessel Vincennes to Gallic aligned pilots in Tau-31 and Tau-23.
[19.10.2016 19:32:24] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: We are looking for any pilots available to perform escort duties of our convoy.
[19.10.2016 19:33:25] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: Bonsoir Vincennes, what is your current location?
[19.10.2016 19:33:47] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: Tau-31 jump gate. We are along the nav route to Languedoc.
[19.10.2016 19:34:12] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: D'accord, I suggest we rv at the Languedoc gate.
[19.10.2016 19:34:21] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: Oui, we are en route.
[19.10.2016 19:35:48] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: Bonsoir Vincennes, I have you on scanner.
[19.10.2016 19:35:55] IDF~Troyes: Alex: Bonjour.
[19.10.2016 19:36:00] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: Bonjour, Corsican.
[19.10.2016 19:36:37] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: Looks like you have a job for me?
[19.10.2016 19:36:52] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: We have been harried by Bretonian and other forces on our way to Leeds. We do not want any surprises on the way back.
[19.10.2016 19:37:35] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: That's unfrotunate. For a fee, I may be able to escort you back to a more civilized space.
[19.10.2016 19:37:54] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: State your price, then.
[19.10.2016 19:37:54] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: As I recall, you two are quite the target out here.
[19.10.2016 19:38:39] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: Well, you are the "employer" in this case non? How about 1 million per system?
[19.10.2016 19:39:09] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: Back to Picardy, that will total your fee at five million credits.
[19.10.2016 19:39:26] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: As you have suggested, one million for each gate we pass.
[19.10.2016 19:39:29] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: D'accord, sounds reasonable for now.
[19.10.2016 19:39:35] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: Let's get on with it.
[19.10.2016 19:39:41] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: Oui.
[19.10.2016 19:40:52] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: Trouble in Leeds huh?
[19.10.2016 19:41:05] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: Much, Benoit.
[19.10.2016 19:41:53] [UC]-Benoit.Villeneuve: You should be extra careful outside of Languedoc. Too many unknowns for my taste.
[19.10.2016 19:47:41] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: Monsieur Alex seems to have run into some -- ah, there.
[19.10.2016 19:48:11] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: New Paris is certainly a welcome sight, as always.
[19.10.2016 19:48:16] IDF~Troyes: Alex: I searched for my wine.

[19.10.2016 19:50:42] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: The Guise Mining Facility.
[19.10.2016 19:51:02] IDF~Vincennes: Fontaine: GMS operates a mining station deep in the field there -- we pick up ore and move it.

Bonjour. I encountered a Bretonian in Leeds recently and had a decent conversation with him. Submitting the Comms Log for review and to see if any follow-up action(s) can be taken.
[08.11.2017 03:31:39] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: UC vessel, halt for inspection

[08.11.2017 03:32:14] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Where are you taking these prisoners
[08.11.2017 03:32:23] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Uhh...to prison?
[08.11.2017 03:32:49] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Well they have no business being transported through Leeds, this system is under an embargo to all Gallic vessels
[08.11.2017 03:32:53] [UC]V-Houston.Express: We are most definitely NOT selling them off as slaves, no sir.
[08.11.2017 03:33:11] [UC]V-Houston.Express: I see. Would you suggest an alternate route?
[08.11.2017 03:33:45] [UC]V-Houston.Express: We want no trouble here.
[08.11.2017 03:34:08] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Yes, not through Leeds. You must turn back, or be escorted to the nearest Bretonian base in the system
[08.11.2017 03:34:22] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Captain here. We're turning back.
[08.11.2017 03:34:32] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: And since there is only our landing pads on Leeds, probably best you turn back

[08.11.2017 03:34:52] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Please avoid Leeds from now on captain.

[08.11.2017 03:35:11] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Or you will be suspect of supplying Royal Navy installation. Fly safe captian...
[08.11.2017 03:35:34] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Prisoners as supplies? Hardly...
[08.11.2017 03:36:22] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: We don't take chances captain. Even prisoners can actually be saboteurs, spies, enemy subversives...
[08.11.2017 03:36:52] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Since there are no prisons in Leeds, best not to cross the embargo line unless an emergency
[08.11.2017 03:37:07] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: All the more reason you should have let us through, and NOT request for us to land on Bretonian installations, hmm?
[08.11.2017 03:37:42] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: We can process them at one of our installations, letting them go to an enemy base is unacceptable
[08.11.2017 03:39:45] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Well, we go where the money goes...some jobs are odd but...hey...it's a war after all...
[08.11.2017 03:41:34] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Indeed. Unfortunately, all Gallic nationals are banned from Bretonia, including the Union Corse
[08.11.2017 03:42:01] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Its true we don't usually confiscate live cargo due to manpower constraints
[08.11.2017 03:42:51] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: otherwise I'd have had to escort you out of Bretonia. Next time, you may lose your cargo and be escorted to the Taus
[08.11.2017 03:43:20] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Truly unfortunate that business has to come to a stop due to war...perhaps we will meet under more favourable...
[08.11.2017 03:43:38] [UC]V-Houston.Express: ...circumstances next time
[08.11.2017 03:44:59] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Aye, we have encounted many Gallic nationals who are not involved in the war
[08.11.2017 03:45:20] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: All we can do is warn against entering the war zone.
[08.11.2017 03:45:51] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: For everyone's safety. Aye captain, perhaps one day when the war is over *nods*
[08.11.2017 03:45:53] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: Truth be told, we are not in favor of this war
[08.11.2017 03:47:28] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: That is good news. We all hate the war, its thrown everything into chaos
[08.11.2017 03:48:15] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Hopefully more Gallic citizens will lose support for the war, and it will end sooner
[08.11.2017 03:48:43] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: If you have any ways to bring the fighting to a stop, we would be willing to, ah, assist however we can.
[08.11.2017 03:48:55] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: But you didn't hear that from me, ok?
[08.11.2017 03:49:27] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Good to know. We can always use all the help we can get.
[08.11.2017 03:49:38] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Send me a message on the Neural Nets if you need anything that might be difficult to do from outside Gallia
[08.11.2017 03:49:53] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: But right now, stopping fighting means winning the war the old fashioned way
[08.11.2017 03:50:29] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: the best help we can use, is information.
[08.11.2017 03:50:56] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Or perhaps a stalemate and ceasefire would do for starters.
[08.11.2017 03:51:13] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Any info you might want to pass on to us, about the Royal Navy, or internal Gallic activity, would be put to good use
[08.11.2017 03:51:51] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Well, information on Gallic troops would be treason, but...for the right price...
[08.11.2017 03:52:05] [UC]V-Houston.Express: The higher-ups might be persuaded.
[08.11.2017 03:52:07] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Perhaps I shall. And any support for our cause within the Union Corse you could promote we would appreciate greatly
[08.11.2017 03:52:30] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Oh, for the right intel we're willing to pay
[08.11.2017 03:52:48] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: or perhaps make special arrangements for UC vessels,
[08.11.2017 03:53:02] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: perhaps for things like entering our space
[08.11.2017 03:53:32] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Well let me give you a little freebie: There is a large resupply operation going on. If you want more information...
[08.11.2017 03:53:53] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Contact us at the following Neural Net Address:
[08.11.2017 03:54:07] [UC]V-Houston.Express: <<< SENDING SECURE CONTACT >>>
[08.11.2017 03:54:27] [UC]V-Houston.Express: We'll see if we can work out a deal.
[08.11.2017 03:54:36] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: copy that
[08.11.2017 03:54:42] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: that would confirm some of my suspicions
[08.11.2017 03:54:56] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: so yes, any direct information you could get me would be very valuable
[08.11.2017 03:55:41] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: In that case, you'll be hearing from me soon. I'm sure we can come to a decent arrangment *nods*
[08.11.2017 03:56:00] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Oh, and another thing I can tell you: UC is not participating in any front-line supply for the Gallic forces...
[08.11.2017 03:56:14] [UC]V-Houston.Express: If you're as smart as I think you are, you'll know what that means.
[08.11.2017 03:57:02] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Well that would be a relief. We'll need to confirm that, but if this info any any more checks out
[08.11.2017 03:57:20] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: We'll gladly reward for such legit intelligence
[08.11.2017 03:58:13] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: And be open to establishing a decent relationship with the Corse
[08.11.2017 03:58:36] [UC]V-Houston.Express: Novak: I await your correspondence. Until then, goodbye.
[08.11.2017 03:58:51] [SIS]-Jonas.Hudson.: Aye captain. We'll be in touch soon. Until then, fly safe!
I sent him one of our secured contact addresses so that deals can be arranged if the Famille Senat wishes to do so.
I was investigating several large signals radiating from the Burgundy system, which turned out to be Royals on maneuvers, when I ran into a vessel from the Marine Royale Gauloise. Its captain was quite inquisitive, and apparently more than a little suspicious, but nothing negative came of the encounter. Indeed, quite the opposite! I have some information that may be of interest to quite a few of us. Read the transmission logs below!
Comm Logs Wrote:[25.11.2017 22:19:59] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: And now another Royal.
[25.11.2017 22:20:10] MRG|Forbin: Patulacci : Salut, le Corse.
[25.11.2017 22:20:12] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: So many out today....
[25.11.2017 22:20:16] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Salut!
[25.11.2017 22:20:18] MRG|Forbin: We don't see many of you around these days.
[25.11.2017 22:20:26] MRG|Forbin: Though I've seen an increase.
[25.11.2017 22:20:27] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Non? Such a shame!
[25.11.2017 22:20:43] MRG|Forbin: I suppose you've located perfectly legitimate ways to do business ?
[25.11.2017 22:21:00] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: We are always perfectly legitimate, monsieur!
[25.11.2017 22:21:13] MRG|Forbin: Oh, but of course, it would be remiss of me to even suggest otherwise !
[25.11.2017 22:21:14] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Why, we've even done work for the government against the Outcasts!
[25.11.2017 22:21:24] Gaston.Nefis: Hello
[25.11.2017 22:21:28] MRG|Forbin: Salut collegue.
[25.11.2017 22:21:32] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Sadly last I checked that bounty board is no longer funded.
[25.11.2017 22:21:40] Gaston.Nefis: Did you catch him doing anything Forbin?
[25.11.2017 22:21:46] MRG|Forbin: Of course, of course. It is true, your help has been most invaluable.
[25.11.2017 22:21:47] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Unless of course you know of one that is?
[25.11.2017 22:21:54] MRG|Forbin: Oh no, he's perfectly fine.
[25.11.2017 22:21:58] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: *grins*
[25.11.2017 22:22:06] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Quite so! Or so says my wife!
[25.11.2017 22:22:19] MRG|Forbin: Transparent and irreproachable, as this lot tends to be.
[25.11.2017 22:22:26] MRG|Forbin: Honhonhon ! Nice one, that !
[25.11.2017 22:22:29] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: *nods knowingly*
[25.11.2017 22:22:44] MRG|Forbin: Well, regarding this bounty board.
[25.11.2017 22:22:50] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Oui?
[25.11.2017 22:22:55] MRG|Forbin: There may be news coming up on that front in the near future.
[25.11.2017 22:23:04] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: *perks up*
[25.11.2017 22:23:07] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: You don't say?
[25.11.2017 22:23:15] MRG|Forbin: Yes, yes, look at him go. Now there's the Corsican I know.
[25.11.2017 22:23:30] MRG|Forbin: Indeed. As you most certainly know, and don't pretend you don't...
[25.11.2017 22:23:35] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: We of l'Unione Corse will glad to be of service on such a front.
[25.11.2017 22:23:56] MRG|Forbin: The MRG has been undergoing quite a few changes in the past few months.
[25.11.2017 22:24:03] MRG|Forbin: Things have been a bit scrambled here and there.
[25.11.2017 22:24:11] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Is that so?
[25.11.2017 22:24:13] MRG|Forbin: Hence the lack of a formalised bounty office.
[25.11.2017 22:24:24] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: Ah, yes, that would explain much.
[25.11.2017 22:24:30] MRG|Forbin: But ! Rest assured. The Marine royale is, as always, efficient and implacable.
[25.11.2017 22:24:54] MRG|Forbin: I have it from reliable word that a call for... good wills is about to be made again.
[25.11.2017 22:25:14] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: We will willingly wait worthy warrants against our common foes!
[25.11.2017 22:25:15] MRG|Forbin: I'd expect the Unione to jump on the occasion.
[25.11.2017 22:25:25] MRG|Forbin: And the accompanying francs, of course.
[25.11.2017 22:25:35] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: But of course!
[25.11.2017 22:25:48] MRG|Forbin: We'll need the help, and the Unione is known for the quality of its pilots...
[25.11.2017 22:26:09] [UC]-Antoine.La'Biere: *nods knowingly*
This would be a most profitable venture to us were this to be the case as Outcast kills in the Taus are already a reliable revenue stream for us. Another bucket of money to collect from would be most welcome! I will keep my eye out for more information as it presents itself!
While on a trip back from the far Omega's, I encountered an agent of the Bretonian Secret Intelligence Service in Languedoc, of all places. Quite bold of him, oui? Nevertheless, the local Maquis seemed happy to leave him alone, and keep the royalists busy too, so we could chat undisturbed, which was further helped by our little wander around Sete, to through off any Royal patrols. He claimed that they had called us up earlier, around our... skills at acquiring and distributing certain valued items. While he made no mention of the exact items, he said to expect a message soon, along an older channel, so I thought it best to pass on word so that some of us could... refresh our memories as to what exactly was exchanged previously, as I was not involved in the previous contact.
Also of some note, one of our pilots was distressed near the Orleanais jumphole in Ile-de-France, and a kind Professeur Regis picked them and is tending to them till we can arrange to meet them.
[16.01.2018 09:20:43] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Ah, bonjour! [16.01.2018 09:20:54] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Good day [16.01.2018 09:20:56] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: *sighs* And there goes the lane again... [16.01.2018 09:21:18] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And who are you? [16.01.2018 09:22:25] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: I am Lothair Dupont, of the Unione Corse, and yourself, monsiuer? [16.01.2018 09:23:10] [SIS]-James.Skirka: James Skirka, of Her majesties SIS. Forgive me for asking but I note in your hold you have Blue Jillies, I thought they were [16.01.2018 09:23:19] [SIS]-James.Skirka: restricted by the Rheinland government [16.01.2018 09:23:32] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Am I mistaken? [16.01.2018 09:23:44] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Are they? But they are so colorful! I can't see why they would restrict such beauty...? [16.01.2018 09:24:41] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Maybe that's why they are restricted. [16.01.2018 09:24:46] [SIS]-James.Skirka: How did you come across them? [16.01.2018 09:24:58] [SIS]-James.Skirka: If I can ask [16.01.2018 09:25:01] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Sounds silly to me, monsieur. [16.01.2018 09:25:18] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Indeed. [16.01.2018 09:25:31] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Why, I bought them off a kind fellow on... Suttgart? I beleive it was called [16.01.2018 09:26:13] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Soo, why bring them here? [16.01.2018 09:26:38] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Oh, I just keep a bunch of them by my flight controls [16.01.2018 09:27:05] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Reminds of the beauty that exists out there in our world, just waiting to be found... [16.01.2018 09:27:32] [SIS]-James.Skirka: So you travel quite often? [16.01.2018 09:27:52] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Oui oui, I make trips through and out of Gallia whenever I have the time [16.01.2018 09:28:06] [SIS]-James.Skirka: On business? [16.01.2018 09:28:31] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Oh, I try and always have /something/ of value in my hold, but its as much sightseeing as business *chuckles* [16.01.2018 09:29:08] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: To think... a decade ago, I couldn't have even imagined the sights of Sirius! [16.01.2018 09:29:33] [SIS]-James.Skirka: So tell me about your organisation. [16.01.2018 09:30:37] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Oh, the Corse? Well, we mostly are traders, but we also used to finance expeditions through gallia [16.01.2018 09:30:58] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Back when there were new corners to find and settle, and new systems to explore [16.01.2018 09:31:39] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I have reason to believe that you lot are particularly adept at...obtaining certain things. [16.01.2018 09:32:19] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Well, perhaps we do have a certain reputation in some corners of Gallia [16.01.2018 09:32:33] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Is that reputation true? [16.01.2018 09:32:49] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: But you can't beleive /everything/ you hear monsieur [16.01.2018 09:33:18] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Perhaps, but there is often some truth to those rumors no? [16.01.2018 09:34:03] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Ah, oui, there usually is a kernel of truth somewhere [16.01.2018 09:34:33] [SIS]-James.Skirka: And it is that smidgen of truth I am interested in. [16.01.2018 09:35:20] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Well, monsier, perhaps we should take a quick flight around, and discuss things further, away from any prying eyes, oui? [16.01.2018 09:35:30] [SIS]-James.Skirka: That's a fine idea [16.01.2018 09:36:12] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Ah... the Maquis.. their methods may be distasteful sometimes, but they do get results, that can't be denied [16.01.2018 09:36:22] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Quite so. [16.01.2018 09:36:39] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Shall we switch to a private channel? [16.01.2018 09:36:48] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Oui, go ahead [16.01.2018 09:37:22] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Wonderful [16.01.2018 09:38:24] [SIS]-James.Skirka: So, some time ago one of our agents contacted your people, would you happen to know anything about this? [16.01.2018 09:38:47] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Hmm.. What was the circumstances of this contact? [16.01.2018 09:39:20] [SIS]-James.Skirka: We were interested in obtaining something from you [16.01.2018 09:40:00] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Something that we were, and still are, willing to pay a high price for. [16.01.2018 09:41:46] [SIS]-James.Skirka: If you catch my meaning. [16.01.2018 09:42:14] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: *nods* I see... I dont recall anything about earlier contact, but much goes on that other don't always know about [16.01.2018 09:43:10] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Fair enough. Let me reopen communications with your organisation then, a new deal as it were. [16.01.2018 09:45:11] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Oui, do so monsieur, and I will make sure someone knows to expect your call [16.01.2018 09:46:18] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Thank you. I will use the old communication channels, if they still exist [16.01.2018 09:47:12] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: *nods* [16.01.2018 09:47:35] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I shan't take anymore of your time then sir. [16.01.2018 09:47:38] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Good day. [16.01.2018 09:47:48] [UC]V-Fortunes.Espoir: Bon voyage, Bretonian!
I have just got back from meeting with Professeur Regis, and our man is back home on Monaco now, getting a medical checkup. I expect he'll be fine after a bit more resting. However, the Professeur did let slip he was looking to work with the Gallic Junkers, but I... enlightened him to their status here, and offered our help instead. Although... after a short chat, I'm not sure we may be able to help much- The Professeur is after the front section of a Valor, and I have no idea how we would help with that. Not knowing what else to do, I suggested they meet with the Council, and see if that can do any help. Till then, the Professeur is staying on the Argenton, nice and close by, should we need to talk more.
[22.01.2018 23:56:26] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Bonsoir!
[22.01.2018 23:56:36] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Bonsoir
[22.01.2018 23:56:54] Prof.Regis-Nerva: It is a pleasure to finally meet you.
[22.01.2018 23:57:01] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Oui, and you too
[22.01.2018 23:57:10] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: I hope your trip here wasn't too difficult?
[22.01.2018 23:57:34] Prof.Regis-Nerva: No, not really. I helped some people when I first arrived in Galia.
[22.01.2018 23:57:52] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Some people from a Liner were on a trip and had some problems.
[22.01.2018 23:58:06] Prof.Regis-Nerva: They gave me a basic map of stuff around here.
[22.01.2018 23:58:12] Prof.Regis-Nerva: *smiles*
[22.01.2018 23:58:17] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Ah, some kindness is never amis in the world today
[22.01.2018 23:58:36] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Oh, pardon my manners. Would you like some wine?
[22.01.2018 23:58:40] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Or some, food?
[22.01.2018 23:59:02] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Ah, no no, I am fine, but it is much appreciated
[22.01.2018 23:59:10] Prof.Regis-Nerva: No problem.
[22.01.2018 23:59:21] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Sooo... I should give this fine pilot back to you.
[22.01.2018 23:59:38] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Oui, lets see him. I hear he is doing well now?
[23.01.2018 00:00:07] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Yeah, he is. Here he comes. * he waves at the pilot*
[23.01.2018 00:00:17] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Safe journey mon ami.
[23.01.2018 00:00:25] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Did you get him?
[23.01.2018 00:00:27] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Ah, monsoiur, come aboard, we'll get you back gome soon
[23.01.2018 00:00:47] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Oui, he is in safely now, just finding a sea
[23.01.2018 00:00:50] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: //seat*
[23.01.2018 00:01:05] Prof.Regis-Nerva: it's funny you know.
[23.01.2018 00:01:15] Prof.Regis-Nerva: I heard so many bad things about Gallia.
[23.01.2018 00:01:30] Prof.Regis-Nerva: But people here seem decent.
[23.01.2018 00:01:50] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Ah well... given what our navy is doing, I cannot blame anyone for thinking that
[23.01.2018 00:02:08] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: No one likes losing their home, after all...
[23.01.2018 00:02:17] Prof.Regis-Nerva: True...
[23.01.2018 00:02:36] Prof.Regis-Nerva: That being said, uhm... what is you faction dealing with?
[23.01.2018 00:02:57] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Why, what do you mean, monsoiur?
[23.01.2018 00:03:03] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Sorry to be so blunt, but there isn't that much info around for a stranger.
[23.01.2018 00:03:35] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Oh, I do not want to be disrepectful. I just want to know more about your organisation.
[23.01.2018 00:03:52] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Ah I see.
[23.01.2018 00:04:25] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Well, we're traders- business men, even.
[23.01.2018 00:04:30] Prof.Regis-Nerva: I cam here looking for, errr, Junkers, uhm... Gallic Junkers.
[23.01.2018 00:04:38] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Oh, that is great to hear.
[23.01.2018 00:05:03] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: We primarily work though- ah... Junkers, they are no good monsoiur

[23.01.2018 00:05:42] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: We chased most of them out long ago, for far too untrustworthy
[23.01.2018 00:05:51] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Oh... well. I guess my trip to Gallia will not be that fruitful after all.
[23.01.2018 00:06:07] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Glad that I could help someone, though. *smiles*
[23.01.2018 00:06:55] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Well monsiour, we may be able to assist you, depending on what it was you needed
[23.01.2018 00:07:45] Prof.Regis-Nerva: *Nerva looks at an image of the Valor he seen when he arrived in Gallia*
[23.01.2018 00:08:23] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Well... I was told that the junkers deal with all kinds of equipment.
[23.01.2018 00:08:51] Prof.Regis-Nerva: I was looking for something... a bit...
[23.01.2018 00:08:59] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Well.... peculiar.
[23.01.2018 00:09:33] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Ah... Well the Corse does sell a few peices of equipment through one of our subsidiaries
[23.01.2018 00:09:43] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: What was it you were looking for, monsiour?
[23.01.2018 00:09:55] Prof.Regis-Nerva: I guess we should switch to a more secure channel.
[23.01.2018 00:10:40] Prof.Regis-Nerva: This channel might be more suitable for our convesation
[23.01.2018 00:11:03] Prof.Regis-Nerva: *he sends you the immage at which he was looking a few minues ago*
[23.01.2018 00:11:06] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Oui, *flips swtich* I've turned on the ecryption cell
[23.01.2018 00:11:20] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Ah, a valor, the mightest of gallic warships..?

[23.01.2018 00:11:46] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Just the front part.

[23.01.2018 00:12:32] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Maybe someone manged to get their hand one some damaged one.
[23.01.2018 00:19:44] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Hmm.. damaged components of Valors, is it?
[23.01.2018 00:19:51] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Oui
[23.01.2018 00:20:05] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: That's.... a hard ask.
[23.01.2018 00:20:24] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Hmm, how would couple hundred millions of Francs sound ?
[23.01.2018 00:20:30] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Whould that make it easier?
[23.01.2018 00:20:38] Prof.Regis-Nerva: *raises glass of wine while smiling*

[23.01.2018 00:23:01] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: I can upload a frequency you can use to contact them, as they do like to keep their privacy
[23.01.2018 00:23:13] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: They are, afterall, in a revolution, monsiour
[23.01.2018 00:23:28] Prof.Regis-Nerva: *he wait a minute and thinks*
[23.01.2018 00:24:29] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Monsieur, I do believe that after all, i should not be that hasty. Maybe, I should get to know your... uhm, company, first.
[23.01.2018 00:24:30] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: Obtaining even the plans for a Valor, let alone a sample of its front bulwark, would be a hard task
[23.01.2018 00:24:42] Prof.Regis-Nerva: You know, like businessmen would do.
[23.01.2018 00:25:30] Prof.Regis-Nerva: *Hey, monsieurs, can't you see that we are talking here? Do please stop shooting at us.

[23.01.2018 00:27:48] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Do you know anywhere where I could stay for a bit?
[23.01.2018 00:27:53] Prof.Regis-Nerva: And be safe while being there.

[23.01.2018 00:32:12] Prof.Regis-Nerva: Anything that I should be worried about there?
[23.01.2018 00:32:14] [UC]Lothair.Dupont: And, just being outside the borders has its.... advantages, shall we say
