POBs are a good thing and a bad thing. People spend way too much time worrying about them instead of roleplaying in game. Moderating something that takes time to build is difficult to do since some people no life a base until its fully done. Then another player who never wanted a POB in their space gets upset or doesn't like said person who built it, so they destroy it. Now the guy who built it is either going to do it again or say screw it and walk away and slowly have a grudge growing. We are all humans and reactions to a cause is normal, some people don't understand or can't understand it's just pixels and will ruin the game for others. I love the bases since they help with mining and such and also have an objective to help save them when they are being sieged or help destroying them. I don't like them because of how useless most bases are that people create. Honest opinion people who want to have a POB after X amount of time should be forced to request to keep it as a permanent station if only it has enough activity to prove a good addition. (This means these random bases floating in debris fields that people keep barely alive shouldn't exist)

Just a thought.
There was an agreed upon allowance by the SCRA to keep the station there.
The Base has existed there for nearly 2 YEARS
The SCRA, then wanting to have an excuse to blow something up, asked the hessians to initiate the attack to circumvent the agreement.
The SCRA Then pretend they have piles of evidence of House ships entering the base but provided none.
This had nothing to do with a violation of space. This was simply people wanting to blow up a players base.
I know it would have broken your heart to not blow something up, but you guys made your flimsy excuses, and did what you came to do.
Now , you have no reason not to do that to anyone else's station for further invented reasons.
Sometimes, when all you want is to gain your freedom, you must be willing to risk it all.

And I'm sure you placed a well thought out, well detailed, understandable, and reasonable communications to the base owner, giving them every chance to either sell the base or demand a monthly cost fee, before opening fire.
As a "Story Developer" I am 100% sure used your skills to good use.

Just to look at the RP that you linked as a proof of your "agreement" with the SCRA, you had an agreement with some indie, not even representing the faction. Figures, eh? Additionally, I remember the OC taking out IMG Core 5 POB in Tau 37 which had existed for 5 years. The history of a pob is no token of invulnerability. My POB has been deleted/rebuilt at least 4 times, last one being a complete meme being assaulted AND defended by the corsairs at a flimsy RP reason, yet you won't find any threads of our faction crying over it. Deal with the dead tamagochi, rinse and repeat if needed. Or build a Coalition/RH POB. Where there is a will, there is a way.

This is a very good point - Core 3+ PoBs have to have good amount of roleplay deemed good enough/acceptable to get their blueprints, yet people can just do the /1/2 even not talking to them in RP, on factions that can't normally do that to transports. That even a story Dev does that is an extreme/sad example - but it should lead to changes faster. I've already proposed them in admin feedback thread, it won't change anything with e.g. nomad sieges, but is a mechanism that can be implemented literally tomorrow as the mechanics and logical points have been considered and worked out for many years.

Want to talk about the guy that has a couple dozen posts to his name with 2 core 3s and a core 4? Or the fact that the same guy at his peak stacked 8 PoBs on top of each other? Bases shouldn't need to be declared on for that very reason. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Though, to be fair, I wouldn't actually be surprised if you were actually the one responsible for that. It is the level of trolling you are known for.
