Seriously broke the forum:D
Either way, for those that think this decision has been discussed before. Actually it hasn't. I don't even know why am I actually posting here, I guess I have the need to let people know how it went down. It was decided in 20minutes.
But here's the catch. Every of us thought it and didn't share it with others. We all had our personal "ghosts" torturing us about OPG. When it finally snapped, one's story just pushed another to come out, until we all confessed that we're tired, and, to be honest - unhappy where is OPG going.
There were suggestions, few of them. But none of them could restore the feared face of OPG that it held before. We decided to disband the OPG.
I will now post my personal future goal, and I believe other OPG members could, so people don't get the wrong idea and thing that our play time here is over. We all appreciate Discovery and will remain on it.
I have already dropped OPG tag from Mentira, and will surely be around to lead piracies and raidings on dublin miners for example. Others will surely form into some squads.
I will surely keep the list of people that have pirate transports and hang out with them in teams. (did you know that 80% of OPG members had a PTrans?)
So don't worry about seeing us as Corsairs. And don't worry not seeing Gentle around as well.
For others I cannot say, but for now I think there is no Corsair faction that could replace OPG. It just grows into you man.
I remember the day i got recruited into OPG as if it were yesterday. When i entered corsair space i got blown to bits by an OPG member, only to be recruited a few minutes later. I was amazed by the organisation that was behind this faction, and took a vow that the only reason for leaving OPG would be my death. I gues this goes both ways. Now that OPG is no more i have no purpose anymore. So i'm gonna enjoy these last moments with a bottle of rum and one of the finest cigars ever made.
I dont know what to say. I'm gutted. You guys have been a constant presence since shortly after we appeared on the server. Your agressive and rough style filled a void in the RP of the Corsair Empire, and the experiences we've had with you will be forever treasured.
Gentle, we've had our disagreements but over the past 18 months worked together allot and were making allot of progress. It is a real blow, to lose such a fierce ally and friend. Suddenly Gamma feels like a much scarier place. I feel like OPG were the backbone of the Corsairs, and particularly of the Council of Elders, and frankly I think we'll be lost without you.
With you gone, this places us in the awkward position as the only clan in the Council of Elders, and therefore not only in-charge, but responsible for representing the Council in-game. This is not what we have ever wanted. OPG helped draft our policies and had the balls to back them up. Things are probably going to fall apart from now. With the Benitez "live and let live" philosophy, we could never in a million years be able to keep the empire in check, from an RP and OORP perspective. Unless TBH get off their high horse and actually get involved in sharing some responsibility, things will fall apart.
Is this the end? Will OPG players keep their characters going, untagged? Will your Elders keep their responsibilities? Will Sparta live on?
I'm clutching at straws here, because frankly I dont want to say goodbye to you guys.

Even better, i'll try to get those boys together again. At least those who wish to stay together.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
Haveing been a former member at one time, and always haveing had good experiences flying with you, or haveing traded countless hours thru the Omega's. Its gonna be sad to go thru there now with only the memories left of what use to be the OPG's stomping grounds, from the days of being an unofficial faction to finnaly gaining that faction status.
Damn! That's bad news! Will really miss you lot in the Omegas! I always had a blast with you lot, and it's just really sad to see the best bunch of corsairs disappear. You pissed off a lot of people with your no nonsense piracy, and I loved every minute of it. The OPG will be sorely missed, if they are truly going.
Hell, where's my main source of income gonna come from now!? You owe me for taking away such a bottomless pit of bounty claims!
OPG were and are the best Corsair pirates I've ever known. Hell, you even made me consider joining your ranks!

Some of us didn't changed their names, I'm one of them ... that save me 14M credits before we get some other tags (or no tags)
Just ignore it for now, anyway, the OPG was no more than corsairs from your side.
