I give 1 b credits to each one of you wise people who can survive in group fight with 5+ people in werewolf more then with Nyx in order to make dmg and to be useful or just take Nyx 1v1 vs Wolf out-turn it and feed it with MRs till it dies, specialised ships fail in all but one thing, so they are general PvP fail. Jaek because 4.5 gunned not able to doge brick lacking response two times bigger then Nyx sux?
This manual sux too because you dont face one type of force but mixed ones and the roug/molly ships fail even more then, ah yes in Guardian is more easy to dodge fire then in Greyhound in group fights as well..
And still there are 2 active official factions with fail ships and in the same time CR with OP ships is gone, go figure. But this is not the topic. It is about Kronos, it was just example, so keep on topic.

This is neither here nor there, though. Back to topic:
I am of the opinion that the Kronos is actually balanced in its current form, but that something should be done with the infocard so these kinds of threads don't happen.
Ship balance have nothing to do with RP, otherwise the Titans should have LF turning and dodging with their currnet stats.

You got to ask yourselves if you want a heavy battleship of that kind, when you could already be using 2 %10 nerfed heavy battleships, and keep this one as light battleship.
The Redemption and the Nephilim are available for CR ID with %10 nerf, I'm not sure if %10 is a big disadvantage in actual combat, but considering the nerf, you would still have more power recharge (270,000 if I'm not wrong) than with the Kronos, more hull strenght and turrets too.
But your option for "light" battleship would fall to the Aquilon, but the power recharge would be 198,000, while the current Kronos has 260,000. (I got this info from wiki, not sure if it's out of date or not).
Now, I repeat, I'm not sure how different these ships are in combat, but with the current state, the CR has better options than with your scenario.
CR would be better with better light options, I think.
However, just my two coins.
EDIT: As note, I'm not taking into consideration the model, I don't know how it feels or anything related to it, just merely pointing out some tactical date.

On topic. Why not up Kronos armour, and slow agility. It is not like you see them around anyway. I can count how many i have seen in last 2 years on 1 hand.
' Wrote:Ah yes CR is not BSG, BSG died a bit after CR was built so CR is not so old as stated by you.
The oldest thread I found on those forums is from 2006, I had older ones on the other CR forums, so its even more then those 5 years:P

It is balanced, but making it heavier while taking agility away shouldnt make it unbalanced either, or?
The problem here is that we wrote the infocards before anyone knew about the stats and I actually like it the way its now
EDIT: @ casero: The CR ID does only allow Colonial Ships and the repair ship, so those combinations arent going to be possible. Im actually kind of glad about that, the CR got a good shipline, so that one should be used by this faction.

Well, that's about all 3 aspects - the actual ship model, infocard, and the size of that thing.
And yeah, CR, currently, can't use anything but it's own tech. Leftover from Panzer's "full uniform" policy (that also resulted in red-celling CR across the chart, for others), but many still like it.
Lot of you dont seem to keep in mind the size of the thing. it either needs a shrink to be appropriate or buffed armor to make it survivable, as it is now they are my favorite thing to shoot at because i cant miss and it has so little armor for its size each shot hurts.
Also, Using nephelim is not really an option due to the RP of the thing. Redemption same, the council wouldent hand them out.
