So i came to confirm
the whole thing started from people on the sair side wanting another pvp fest. this has happened before. Nobody on the sair side seems to have the balls to admit to their own mistakes, as corsairs use the freeports just as often for the SAME things. its sort of one of those periodical bull**** fests.

Yea, I know the Corsair use the Zoner bases just as much, even though we have our own bases within about 30k of all the Zoner bases we are talking about. Yea, I cant see an logical problem with that.

We're also not stupid enough to boldly brazenly trust in Zoner neutrality to throw caution to the wind and let our enemies actually see us docking there.

It's like a sanction. No Zoner would make a fuss about us using fp1 or 5 unless somebody complained to them about it.
We're complaining now, beacuse we have evidence.

The problem is that no matter how hard we try, how amny sships we get, how long we work at it, how well-roleplayed and written, how many people on teh server we get to agree with our cause, hell even if we paid off the admins, there is no way, not even the slightest possibility, a shade of a chance, a glimmer of hope that we could do jack to the Omicroners or FP9 or FP5.
We can't blow up their stuff (aside from their player ships) we can't damage their bases, we can't hurt their economy, we can't starve out their people, hell we cant even kill a single bloody Zoner without their express, OORP permission.
Which we will not get.
The only way we can "win" is to basically troll them and all zoners whenever they log in-game, to effectively make their playing time in-game, as zoners, so horrorific and frusterating that they will do what we want.
Since Zoners mainly trade in house anyways, far out of our ZoI, they could, right now, tell us to piss off and go trade, laughing as we ineffectually mortar their bases, spending all their time in Liberty, not having to devote even a minutiae of a second to thinking about or defending their bases, and nothing will change.
Hell they could actually ban Corsairs from docking at their bases and give our enemies full succor and supply, and still be able to laugh it off in the safety of the Houses, out of our reach, their stations and homes completely safe beacuse if we roleplayed actually doing any damage it would be.....
"powergaming".
Which it would be, to be honest.
But there's no mechanic for wars. No process to contest the outcome of one.
No way for any war to end up doing anything but engendering oorp and in-rp hate.

All zoners are to be treated as hostile unless proven otherwise. Throwing a piece of bred only then they have their own arse in danger won't prove anything. OSI and TAZ are groups of zoners who earned respect. The rest - haven't.
