Thank you for your response. :)
However, in an effort to prevent a potential misunderstanding as a result of this event do you consider that there are any ships that are not suitable for making these types of RP visits?
For instance, are we likely to see any =LSF= battleships turning up in Gamma, as the next step after this reconaisance trip? Or is what we have seen pretty much it ie snubs only?
Also what is likely to be the view of the =LSF= if Gamma starts to be swarmed by Liberty indies? Will the =LSF= feel that this is an acceptable/good thing or something else?
What?
Wow stop being overreactive about a small RP trip. They wont bring caps to gamma. It's very unlikely gamma will be swarmed by indies..
I'm not trying to sound like I'm trolling but you really are over-reacting. like they said earlier, it's a omicron check-up (or as far as I see it...), data collecting.
I don't see any problems here..
I've met the =LSF= often for a month and I have to say you're much more better than you were let's say a year ago. Both in RP and pvp. Keep it up, guys.

nah... you're right.
My trying to understand what the official factions view might be about their indies turning up in Gamma is a waste of my time (and i guess everyone elses). Apologies to all concerned.
' Wrote:So to be clear, and assuming I am understanding this correctly, I guess you see no reasons at all why Corsairs should not turn up in New York so long as they RP it as some sort of Scouting mission (on the basis that this is good RP)?
There is still a difference between the Liberty Security Force and the Corsairs. The LSF is an intelligence agency. However, the Corsair Empire is not, as far as I know. It is our duty to do these kind of missions. I already stated our reason why we did that. And things like that should normally not occur that often.
Also, we will surely not come with battleships. The LSF, first of all, doesn't maintain any battleships and those wouldn't fit in our recon missions anyway.
I see no reason why the Corsairs would do the same. There is nothing that would interest the Corsair Empire in Liberty. They have got enough problems with other groups that keep them busy. Our reason was to check up with the current situations, just like the fleet strength, in the Gamma system. The Corsairs, even far away from Liberty, still could oppose a threat.

I'm sorry but Corsairs could say the same about Liberty showing interest in Corsair Empire.
Liberty is one of the biggest importer of the Corsair main export after all.
The mutual connection exists.
The points in discussions about why certain ships can't go off their actual ZOI without huge preparations are always getting on the light when they are useful to be pointed at and they are forgotten when they are not useful.
However some times on a roll we managed to come to a conclusion that ZOI is determined by supply routes, bases where you can actually land, ship's fuel, oxygen supplies, etc. Which are all only in RP terms of cause.
So in different situation we talk about ships not being able to go from their ZOI because of having no bases around to land\having to go via hostile systems\etc and then small ships are going the way through the half of the Sirius because they feel like "checking out some stuff".
This is strange and very hypocritical. I bet Liberty will not be very happy to find Corsairs in NY which were "Checking out how things are going around Manhattan".
Yes, LSF is intelligence agency. Because Liberty is divided on many IDs. Corsairs ID is the only ID corsairs got so it have a multiple purpose as it's mounted by police\military\intelligence\traders\whatever ships from Corsair Empire.

yea and it is a fact that the Liberty Security Force is a intelligence agency and the Corsairs are not. It is not about ''What do you think what we are?''. The Liberty Security Force is different. If they wouldn't be a intelligence agency where is the sense of this faction? A Navy already exists in Liberty. The LSF is not a second Navy Faction.
