I have no idea why it was removed, the slaver ID I can understand but not this one. Slaver ID was basically: "You can shoot everything that is not a transport without making a demand, have fun".

Use the pirate ID, and demand cargo from whoever you want to engage. Ask for their regens. After a while you'll be limited to civilian tech and only able to dock Zoner bases.

You guys talk like it was Sirius-wide. Players using the Vigilante must use a lawful IFF and obey the ZoI of that IFF. Zoner/Freelancer was not allowed, go look up sanctions. It was more dynamic, but not sirius-wide.

I also wouldn't mind if Vigilantes could be attacked by house police and navies. Would even make sense for them to do that.

You know how it goes here. If ID is too "PvP friendly" it's taken out or granted with special request only.

First two can't use gunboats and up and have a limited ZoI.

I've never seen any griefing done by Vigilante players.

I'd say I'm not going to point to the Kruger faction who lost their official status for generally being wankers to a number of other groups and people, but I just did. They used the Vig ID so they could grive other players/player factions because the Kruger ID didn't allow them to do so.
