That's good in theory, were it not that most unlawful factions do not exist outside of house space (Bundies, Mollies, Rogues/Hackers, Gaians, FA). So if you go by Snake's plan, those factions will not have any NPCs that are worthwhile. There's also the question on what to do with the guild factions (BHG, Zoner, IMG, GMG).
Storyline's pretty much decided that Leeds is under complete GRN control, so there's no Bret bases left where missions can be ran from. Dundee doesn't have that problem. Request for in-house heavy missions is conceded... it's something that will be set later in the devcycle when the MBases.ini file is worked on. (This file sets the behaviour of NPCs inside bases - mission givers, rumor tellers and so on).
Dev update: Finished (mostly) with Bretonia, Chester and Leeds excluded. Chester's being worked on by someone else. I've worked on Liberty instead, and WHAT A BLOODY MESS that was. The lanes misoriented, Rheinland NPCs still on the lanes, even a few zone glitches that make me wonder why they didn't crash the server. All lanes resized and reoriented - excess exclusion zones cleared. The proper factions have NPCs on the lanes now, a nice mix and match of various factions.
Right now I'm working on Alaska, Ellesmere and Inverness. Atum is moving to Inverness - Order indicated a wish to expand their operations outside of Bretonia. Inverness puts them in a position to strike at Wilde operations in Tau 117 via either Coronado or Newcastle, and they can investigate those Nomad ruins in Chester and Newcastle - and be chased around by Bretonia intelligence while doing so. To fix some shortcuts over the Alaska system, the connection to the Omicrons will be routed over Ellesmere. This gives the faction that is supposed to have an interest there, the LSF, access while it makes the route more difficult for other people. I've also set a few spawns inside Zone21, designed to make folk think twice before going into that minefield.

Aet, out of curiosity, when are the devs going to stop working on Disco? Eventually there just won't be high enough demand for you guys to care.. And I'm sure some would say that's now as well.

When enough devs burn out that we can't continue and there's no-one to replace them, presumably.
Dunno when. When people stop playing the game I guess - no point in modding when there's noone to enjoy it. But we're not anywhere near that point. As for the Zone21 spawns, if you can survive a continuous spamming of cruisers and gunboats while staying inside the minefield's globe, then farm to your hearts content. But I suspect that'd only be a very temporary measure. Besides, who will be farming there? With Atum leaving, the nearest base hostile to the LN would be Buffalo.

If that paths are as bad as those outside the planets
(the ones littered with crashed BS's)
Then, Indie LN as the spawns fly into the minefield and die?
does this Bretonia GRN thing mean that all Baf will become hostile from new london gate to planet leeds and further, as in ALL leeds is hostile to bretonian id/iff ships?
