I have been looking in the market section for coordinates, and business doesn't seem to be booming, so I am considering setting up a character/shop for that sort of thing, with low prices/fast customer service.
What ship and ID would be recommended, if I basicly want to scan everywhere (and get RP permissions etc. to do the work when within House Space/in proximity of secure installations). Going Zoner/Aquilon is a bit boring to me. How about an IMG Kronos? Would it be possible for an IMG/Kronos player to get access to house space to perform scans? Or try to obtain an Aquilon on another, friendly (90%) ID? Would that at all be possible, to get an Aquilon as an ally?
Any suggestions or inspirations are very welcome. I would need a BS (any BS?) to perform scans right? And I can only do it solo (in regards to cargo capacity/fuel consumption) with a MK2 scanner, right?
Yeah, basically the problem is a lack of people making hyperspace scanners. Rhey require a jump drive to be useful. Unlike cloaks which are still useful on their own. So thats your reason for usiness not to be booming.

uhm, best bet - Osiris or a battlecruiser
why? firepower + cargo space is what you need.... and the smaller your ship is, the less "detectable" you become...
So getting a zonerzonerzoner ossie (should give you 75-90% nerf since zoner and order is allies) should do the trick...
incase of lolwuts going "gank the cord-scanner guy" you can just box-strafe your way to safety

But then I would be severely limited when I try to sell the coordinates/set up shop.
But anyhow would it at all be possible to get access to house space in a BS to scan stuff through official channels? is it worth the trouble and investment?

hey, you dont have to say you're a pirate... just say, that your client really dont need to know, and that his job, regardless, will be done.

It is ok Aqualion light slots are not retarded like the other battleships, the ship by itself have good heavy slots and perfect handling it can take quite a beating before it dies. Also not all are attacking zoners, it also have more space for fuel, also zoners are able to dock on their own bases that are mostly 1-2 systems away from the most house space systems so it is ok.
