What do you mean we don't use tactics? Several of the successful defences have been done with an SFC| leading the group.
We came up with the idea of using jump holes when they were camping the gate, Savi came up with the idea of going though Virginia when they started to catch onto us using the holes, as well as grouping them together and hitting them from differnt angles at the same time.
The 41st are relatively good too. And I refuse to belive the [LN] would be in the official possition they are now if they didn't use tactics either. I'm sure both of those have come up with battle plans behind the scenes that I'm not aware of.
And like LolRawr!? said, your basically trying to form a group, that already exists. Infact seveal exist, includeing 1 for all the groups, with a bunch of indies, to help us work together.

I have yet to see a defense in which the LNS didn't take massive losses.
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.

Sundays didn't, it was the resulting attack by us on Hamburg that cost us ships. I have screens if you want me to upload.
I do know others have gone well. The one on the 3rd went quite well too, that was when Savi suggested we use Virginia for the first time. As for when the others were exactly I'm not sure. It all sort of blurs into one and I don't have screens of all of them.
It seems to be the weekend ones that go well for us. I can only assume its due to the fact most people have the days off.
I think the biggest problem concerning tactics is having too many admirals on one fleet.
Instead of separating , people should stick together and appoint 1 leader and then most importantly: follow orders.
That is something Liberty's enemies seem really good at.

To be fair I wouldn't say thats the only problem either. I know I keep saying about how good our leadership is, truth of the matter is, although we have won the vast majority of fights we lead, getting our leaders online alone is a mission and a half.
Something else that might work is having group leaders, I mean Savi and Tim work quite well co-ordinateing our forces in order to carry out what the [LN] has asked us to do. I don't think I've ever seen anouther faction do that.
Also, not going to name any names, but some high up elements of the 41st seem to get a bit ... aggitated ... if suggestions come in from someone who isen't [LN] or 41st. Lets just say one got a bit ... ragey ... when Savi suggested basing from Virginia for the first time and grouping our forces there. I'm sure you know who you are, no need to name and shame.
41st to SFC relations can certainly do with some work. And I will say SFC isen't blameless for this, there are certain comments and feelings floating around the SFC these days about the 41st, lets just say not many are positive.
i have idea.
When you will collect this LNS indies, who will and want listen and fight - give them special number in their name.Let them be something bigger than LNS,but not official group. Only number for fast invite and understanding that this people will listen you and will do your orders. Then you can sort players who will work with you and who will not.Who will not - not give them commands -they will not listen you,you will only waste your time.
For example LNS-Hawaii =====>LNS-Hawaii|3rd (3rd - will mean third heavy battlegroup)
And when you will collect some players - give them this number.
In perfect situation,to feel that fleet is "real" - give them some similar names. Cities, rivers, mountains, lakes or other.
Like we has - all our ships has name similar to group of cats.Like Lion, gepard, tiger, leopard and etc.
This is will be interesting to see fleet with similar names, organized and powerful.
For example:
BSs - names of states:
For cruisers and labcs:
Names of cities:
LNS-Seattle|3rd
LNS-San.Diego|rd
LNS-Philadelphia|3rd
LNS-Detroit|3rd
For Gb - on your vision.
and work with them, use different setups in fight and look for your mistakes.
I realy want to see that liberty will stop crying and give us a fight.
I dont believe that camping or other not giving you a chance to kill us all.
We have much weak ships...
And some other low loss defenses were led by me or Soul Reaper.
The point, is one leader is important. First question I ask: Who's leader? I get an IDK, I take over. I also agree with madvillain: To many admirals. Seriously. Leadership and not squabbling or complaining and shutting up is how LN win. You can see the problem...
And LN ships are not weak; the LSC rips anything apart with the FWG, LABCs dish it out, as do dreads.
Seriously. LN ships are NOT: CHARGE ALL THE THINGS.

That's my few cents towards this thread.
In the end, its lack of proper leadership, lack of skill when using said ships, and overall lack of common sense.
Also, one does not simply attack Rheinland. Thats just asking for Hessians + unioners + RM + RNC gank.
It takes ONE leader for a fight. Or in the case of some plans for strategies ive written a sub-leader for each element.
