I say it's sixty. And the amount of money is way too low to affect the food chain. I wouldn't afk my police ship for 150k, I make that money in 5 seconds.

Same problem, how do you prevent exploits, such as setting up a small script that repeatedly scans incremental targets?
Hm maybe by having to scan the target using both the /showscan$ command and the normal scanners (default key O). Wherein you only get paid if the /showscan$ cargo matches your scanner data (You'd have to scan the target before it docks/sells what the trade lane/gate scan initially detected)
I'm sure someone would eventually write up a good program that would be able to intercept targets automatically and scan them once they get in range, but like Hone said - we already have auto trader/miner exploits floating about out there which are less complicated.
I like the idea of this, but to be honest, there's lots of potential for abuse unless we make it a fixed payment of some sort, that requires one to log a certain amount of time in-game. However, I doubt that would be very popular, unless I'm being stupid.
