I strongly disagree with you. Both on a RP basis and an OORP one. What would be the point of the Order if you guys are going to do the same and, much, much more?
Exactly what Vlad says.
Give Order some more luv instead of making Zoners trying to be Order.
Zoners are a underdog, and always will be , because there is no such thing as THE Zoners.
they are small communities, not a house , not even half a house , more like a squat house.

What point is that? I have yet to see more than 2 orders online are you stuck or something? im argueing about the order activity unless aerelm jumps in and steals the rest of my post.

As a matter of fact, I'd extend the "no need for a thousand words prior to engagement" to a lot more IDs. The only reason I'm not pushing for it is because I know a lot of people don't have the maturity not to abuse it.
It works for the Nomads mostly because the ID is so limited otherwise.
What i am trying to say is that it is stupid for people just to attack free will with nothing being said. You could be sitting still one second and then a nomad bomber comes and takes your shields down and snacs you before you even get a chance to move.

Tel, I haven't involved in discussions which you started or got heavily involved into, but the quoted message above made me decide otherwise.
The way you patronize people constantly is appalling, in my opinion. Sure, I've seen some people actually making not so friendly comments towards you, but Volupta wasn't that unfriendly, but your reply was. Perhaps a more friendly (or neutral, you being a "zoner") stance could work better.
And perhaps there is also the option of timezones? You might have not seen more than 2 Order players online, but heck, perhaps the American timezone based players are more active when you're out sleeping or whatnot.
And besides that, Vlad actually had a good point about you joining the Order instead of the Zoners, perhaps with your active presence others will feel compelled to log their Order too for cooperation. At the moment you're just driving people away from you, in effect making your time here harder and harder.
Questioning is good, answering is good too, but try to remain civil, there's already enough bullthings (hihi) going on in the real world without that having to be taken inside a gaming environment too. This was a lesson I learned some time ago and it made my experiences so much more nicer and regularly funny too.
Perhaps with you leading you can get more people following the ideology? Good luck.
In my opinion, there is an universal truth about Nomad rp: "The less, the better".
Few players are capable of doing the Nomad rp.
The majority (myself included) better stay away from: "*** bleeeb // blub *** stars *** light (!) poor rp attempts.
So, nothing is wrong with silently engaging Nomads.
They create a more realistic background than the "talking" Nomad.
That Zoners get into the crossfire is just what should happen. That's why they have heavy toys. And what is difficult about doing "Defending myself/ship X/Station Y/Humanity against the Nomad threat" rp? You'll always find something to defend because Nommies attack everything.

I tend to choose my words carefuly and I dont mean to offend anyone, yet I read and I respect other people's opinions but Im not looking for comments on "Ow zoners again, or "want to shoot? be Order" - I'm looking for a debate, and normal discussion and not just a post-count raffle.
Anyway, I'm working from home for the last two weeks so I do hang out alot, esp at nights ( well thats about 10 in the morning for the americas )
so I already stated that this is not an idea or an opinion, its just a matter of observation thats all.
