For the first week, this was good for the Omicron Community, but now it's reached it's zenith and the decay is setting in.

Some show-stopping political re-write of the Zoners is really needed here, something that would stop militarism firmly.

I propose the permanent removal of zoner caps, or making them SRP'd to avoid the mentality.

Honestly i would prefer if ALL the cap ships would be SRP ones. Or at least Faction ships. So people must be part of an official faction instead of lolwutting around and trying to avoid rules flying an indy bs ship for example.

You won't get everyone joining an official "tagged" faction, some people simply prefer playing indy char for a good reason. Like not being told "what to do" in-game by idiot lolwut power-monger faction leaders all the time. One good reason many end-up playing indy char (after first joining an official faction). So good luck getting all players to join one!

Also... if you take CAP ships away from all indy faction players. Hmm... all you'll end up doing is helping reduce numbers playing on server. That much is sure because there's a few indy players flying around in CAP ships all the time. Others, they would just get bored of playing on server - if unable to use cap ships as faction indy.

You can't force people into joining an official tagged faction, which is pretty much what you're proposing.
