(Note: this field had approximately the same drop rate in 4.86 as the field in Munich, athough its density was a bit lower.)
General note: now it takes approximately twice as much time to fill up an 5k transport than it took in 4.86 (I made time measurements 6 times, in the high yield fields (like in O7) it takes 11-13 mins to fill up an 5k), so the mining is half as fast.

NOTE: the field contains both scrap metal pieces and rocks to shoot, but big asteroids are not present in the wreck field, and the rocks do not give anything. Scrap mining would be a bit less annoying without the rocks.

Question unrelated to the mining rates, but to the mining prices:
Why have all ore prices been nerfed?
Prices are lower by about 500-1000 when compared with last version. (unbuffed values; ores checked: Silver, Copper, Cobalt, Niob)
This seems unnecessary, taking into account that normal trading (NPC-NPC base) was buffed dramatically.

Aye something I'm keen to know to, some have been nerfed even more. For example the price for Platinum at Waterloo has been nerfed from 10649 -> 9199. That's 1450 less credits per unit
Might be better to start a new thread to voice this issue though Jack? *Shrugs*
salvager in texas use 4 laser on last 4 gun slots and you get a count of 40-50 scrap and then sell in guard system for 3400 11mil for about 10 minutes work...radiation fields have to most contaners to shoot

You don't get any extra scrap for using extra turrets.
It's a decent route, best scrap route for us junkers, but still not that good compared to ore routes.
OK, something is odd here. I was mining scrap in the aforementioned field in Texas (Grande Negra), and it got depleted after like half hour of mining; with my friend, we moved ~12-15k scrap metal (so not that much).
And I heard the same about the alberty platinum field, it gets depleted really fast. Is this intentional, or a bug?
The depletion curve/method/idontknow might be bugged.
