Daron does have some points mixed in with the rest of his posts...
While the "I hate all miners" is fine, and you can make demands of transports, it's been a while since it was called the Gaian Terrorist ID. Even then, it said specifically on the Wiki that this is NOT an actual Terrorist ID. Be sure to make a demand before you shoot any transports (including non-snub miners), unless they are Planetform or OS&C (which are not included in your RP at all, it seems).
As for your ZoI, "borrowing" without permission is usually known as stealing from said faction. While it may be pretty, its arrangement and connection of systems is out of date and the actual ZoI (where you can do things, meaning Influence rather than Interest) is far-reaching beyond the ID. Effectively, it'll be what is red on here, the systems next to them and should eventually include California (which will be fixed later). So you can only RP and defend yourself in Tau-23, Kyushu, and Omega-7 for example.
Also as suggested, terrorism works very well with bombers compared to currently not very powerful HFs and one of the weaker gunboats. Not sure if the Praetorian is any better than last version but you could ask the Corsairs for some since it is 90% - Roc is your best "free" bet though.
Overall, be careful how you play the terrorist role. If people are not enjoying the interactions they are more likely to submit reports on any light slip-ups you may make. If it is enjoyable and well-RPed, it will be more fun for everyone involved. Good luck.
I liked the Tau 23 roleplay interaction with your Dr. Be careful about ZoI when it is more than just verbal rp.
And perhaps also be careful with logging for BMM- all the time. Why?
Mining factions are - at the moment - trying to rebuild. Even the big ones lost most of their players in the period when mining was disabled, and I do not want to imagine how hard the small ones were hit. So... give them some time to breathe, perhaps. Especially BMM, who are high on the Molly list (and Mollys are desperate for activity also)...
Also, keep in mind that the "drop your ore and destroy it" is likely the worst demand for the receiving party. You will get a lot of emotional reactions, especially from new players. Keep in mind that a lot of new players lost a lot of money during the rollback and that they are trying to remake their stuff at the moment. I assume many do that by mining.
So... general advice: be a bit careful on how hard you play it. You'll be received better, reported less, ganked less if you keep the above mentioned in mind.

Also, perhaps you could work toghether?
I have added pel on skype and everyone can add me or wraga, we are open to suggestions and we want to include everyone who wants to play as a gaian so we can make a decent faction that can be relevant in the current game instalation. We are open to some compromise and want to hear everyones opinion, that's why we started a skype chat.
I would try new things in game keeping the vanilla lore than trying new concepts;
I think that people tend to make amazing backgrounds to finish doing the same in game. And perhaps doing it in the oposite direction could work better.
...
Things to do as a Gaian keeping the original lore that came to my mind;
Do not become the same pirates we all days see in Discovery
Do not kill transport but damage it hardly. Your aim is not to become assasins but harass companies and freelancer who don't follows, at least, a minimum respect for Gaia
Establish you chart of legal and ilegal goods to be transported
Ilegal goods: Ores, luxury goods ...
legal goods: food, water, goods ...
Make a "green seal" for companies.
You can not only pirate but work in other ways... scout and scann what companies tranasport and give them a seal from green to red. Alert them from the result. Let the companies work quietly if the have a green seal, harass the ones with orange, and sabotage the ones with red... And the most important do it in frames of time, let a company pass from one stage of another if it puts a minimum of efford in game or in forums, you always can become more hard to satisfy later.

Be subtle
Don't act so openly, perhpas it's hard to not being searched for bret corps, but try to not be so hostile in other parts of sirius to have a degree of grays in relations. You could be pirtaes in Bretonia but just activists in Kusary or Liberty ...
Gaian ships & setup
I would go for a crazy setup with the aim to harass company transports, not to become an elite in the skies; Take the Gaian fighter, full of debs + missile launcher + nuke. Face in groups of 2 or 3 convoys and mining operations, and run when the police appears. Train the subtargeting in Conn to destroy tranport engines and parts... So making pirate actions that makes lose time to the compnay rather than money
Basically refiting the fighter to become efficent against transports and at the same time making easy for the police take you down if they catch you... cat & mouse
...
All this are "things to do" ingame wich I think are more important, I think it's better to define the concept after you know what will you do in game.
Green luck!
Most of these concepts are "built in" to the New Gaian Front RP (at least to my mind), but it is good to say it all explicitly.

Yes. Totally a PTC concept. Dead there, why not bring it alive here?
Watch the news.
Daron, I don't think we're doing anything that would attract the government's attention. The whole nutjob college-kid ecoterrorist schtick is actually a part of the original vanilla Freelancer game. And the way the NGF roleplays it is focused on interrupting an activity, rather than actually hurting anyone.

The 75% technerf is a bit painful, but perhaps you'll be more comfortable with them that way anyway.
I'd love to fly some bad Mama bombers, but still, firepower and intimidation are not the aim of the NGF. We are Doctors, educators, scientists, antibodies to the Universal Mother herself. The point of flying Jinx-designed ships is that they are specifically Gaian and stylish as all get out. We will give a good fight, but we will also turn tail and run whenever we see fit. If we can combine our strength in a swarm we may take you out, but if not we'll be all flash and bluster-- pure posturing-- as long as we impede mining to some extent.
Even getting them to pull out a cruiser or more escorts to protect themselves is a form of success. We don't have to fight them every time, but we DO have to alleviate the tedium of trading/mining and increase cooperation among players (for or against us).
To understand the ship choice you have to turn the whole pew-pew concept on its head and focus on survival and misdirection rather than direct aggression.

OS&C and Planetform are our primary targets for piracy. Piracy is simply not the main focus of our RP, but it is not excluded.
And your cautions about RP are well-recieved. The whole point of this form of RP is to make it zany and irreverent, setting ourselves up as vainglorious objects of ridicule. Our goal is not really to dominate or intimidate, so we should avoid ruffling most feathers (unless they just find us irritating).
We will ALWAYS make demands, announce our presence and focus on the "give up your evil ways" schtick rather than simply firing first.
And "terrorist" does not equal "blowing things up/wanting to kill people." It actually means that we have a cause that is more important than material gain-- we are willing to die for our zany beliefs, but will not force anyone else to die just b/c they think we're ridiculous. Unless they attack us, of course-- then its self-defense. Mainly we want to talk about Gaia.
5. New ZOI attampt:
Plus California, I guess. And we may RP and defend ourselves in surrounding territories.
Allies? I guess Corsairs are still our best buds, but I'll look at that more later.
6. Thanks Jack_Henderson. This is still pretty tame stuff, but glad you noticed.
As for "logging for BMM," I have no clue what that means. My main MO is to look for mining areas, scan holds for ore and THEN begin my RP. If I see a BMM (or any) character with no ore then I'll probably just pass the time of day.
With the "drop your ore and destroy it" line, I will express it more as a wish than a demand. I would like to "return all the ore to the Mother," but we all know that this is unlikely without a fight. Again, this is zany-- not serious. But feel free to protect your interests. We excel at dodging bullets.
7. Yes Scumbag, let's work together. I'll try to get started on Skype soon.
8. Tabris, we thank you! We will bask in the Coalition's goodwill from a distance and your warm words will sustain us through dark nights pursuing the enemies of Gaia.
We would appreciate another shipment of piroshkis!
