Another mining yield multiplier based on the amount of ships in group

For too long we had mining as a no-brainer option when it comes to money making. I propose to balance it just a tiny bit in a way which would offer the same amount of cash flow, but make things a tad more interesting.

Add ship count as a modifier for mining bonuses.

For now we get our bonuses for the ship type, IFF, ID, Guns and the location.
What if that made up only 20% of the drop yield?

How to get 100% drop?

By mining in a group, of course.

Minimum of 5 people within 10k and in group with you.
Perhaps another 1.5 multiplyer for every mining ship.





Solo mining would be destroyed. Want to do solo, go fly and trade. Want to earn billions? Mak grupp.

Yeah, come gather in large groups, so that pirates notice you easier and provide much more danger in exchange for large potential profit.

That would be nice, since pirates are 'endangered species' now a days.

Seems a nice game mechanic to concentrate activity.

If its doable, I would bet for a test period and adjust the extra bonus factor if needed.

When was this implemented?

An example:
IMG has a 4x bonus on Niobium, takes X amount of time to fill a 5ker. Using two miners, it takes X/2 to fill it: your rate is doubled.
