Anyway from what I gather, player A was probably acting all sneaky coming to you with a GMS ship lured you to reveal your location and then came with a battleship and went all ugly, because of an ooRP grudge (correct me if I am wrong, since I well could be)
It's still not powergaming or metagaming, it's a poor form that should be sanctioned for Trolling or Harassing at best.

See? New light new thoughts. Anyway, even if what was mentioned WAS true, it's still not a reason to ban/sanction/watever someone for metagaming or powergaming.

Skypelancing won't help my friend. (to the record i did not report, nor i even play disco anymore. But i still read the forums now and then.. And there is no justice in this server. Only the trolls who get free because they have admin influence. Ak skypefriends or something similair.
The exploit I showed, not having used, landed me a year and a half of ban-time, plus having all of my work up until then deleted, including my forum account and all my posted RP material, tutorials, guides and everything else.
The Bass Hunters fiasco ended with me having 1.1bil worth of stuff bastilled, and after the DPC drama went down and I bailed, I ended up having to delete all of my ingame items and accounts, not to mention a related or unrelated report about my IP to my ISP, landing me around 150 Euros worth of fines for using unlicensed software on my office computer, which was on the same IP as my laptop.

You started with bass hunters after a few wanted to shoot a base for the lulz to see when defense came. At some point it was made seriously and for me there was only 2 targets. after it another one came due to their ingame RP against us corsairs. You decided after our succesfull beginning to start that group. I left, but got my legate bastilled after a few months. I still feel sorry for all the ones hurt due to your 'fun' and 'treewyrm' was right. I left there way in time. Then some time later, you guys managed to get a complete list of every system with every base. I ask how you did get it. And then i get from one of you who was in that dpc chat a response that raul and doj had some trick to make a playerbase have a huge size.Now as you where leading it.. what makes it you then? my base got removed. ONe i did built with a guy i started to know with whom you where playing 24/7. Now as he did build his own extention mine was also removed. I called it myself in the end a call of karma. I had to pay for my mistakes even playing along with you. Sadly you dragged the guy i knew then along with you. I spoke to cannon on skype some weeks after the last reply. and you know who i had to blaime? My bud who build it along with me.. the one YOU dragged along. I am not going to complain, because i really don't care.. But what i DO care is that due to your finding here you dragged me along with it. WHile i was LONG gone. And not only me, but you decided to herras the WHOLE server with that to troll around and kill everyone on sight. What is that for a behaviour?
Another thing happened sadly was that i sold a gallic battleship who i did loan for 1 day to one of you poking me like crazy on skype for half an hour. You would say what is wrong with it? well since it was bastilled due to something YOU guys did along with all the innocent ones who ended in bastille due to YOUR actions. Tunicle bought that ship from me, i offered him on pm a refund of it and tried to get it arranged so he could get his ship back. NONE of you cared who you dragged along. You where just in for the trolling.
Now my ban was due to you and your buddies, while you miraculous were not sanctioned like me. Now you claim YOU did suffer a lot? Man get a life.If i compare it to your loss and the loss many players had who were NOT involved, then this is just some mere pocket money. Not to even mention what it did cost me. At least i can say i did achieve something on the forums and ingame as well.. did you?

The point may be that you had some accountability leveled for your actions.
There are however a number of players here who ended up losing out in their effort and pixel cash and ships due to you actions when they have done nothing wrong.
So please stop with the bleeding heart act, you not only know better, but half the time actually act better. That however does not really excuse being a ..... for the other half of the time.

This certainly looks like this was more to set an example, although the fact that this report even happened makes me start to wonder. How long before people start getting reported for logging thier LN's in NY when an OC Dread pops in because "He must have been looking at the playerlist to know I was there! Hes metagaming! Ban him!"
Maybe I should take Cali for anouther trip to Hamburg and list all the RNC's that log just to make a point ...
I think this sanction should be overturned. It's really dumb.
Let me give an example of what IS a legitimate example of an offense. This ACTUALLY happened.
So, me and some other Marauders were doing our usual thing. We went to okinawa to do some piracy and steal some h-3.
When we get there, we meet an indie GMG miner. We do our usual thing where we get filled up by the miner and then once the job is done we run off without paying him. As we were running away, this guy was really mad. He threatened us with sanctions and that typical kind of stuff. He starts getting really angry and says he going to kill us. I just laugh with the rest of JM.
As we approach liberty with our load, I notice that "GMGMINER" has suddenly switched to "LNS-Eaglehunter" (These aren't their actual names, just examples).
As we enter colorado, LNS-Eaglehunter was waiting for us. He starting saying about how we had robbed a miner all the way in Okinawa. Trying to retain RP composture I questioned him about how he knew. He ignored me and then began to shoot us. We got away though, and later I managed to get a ram kill on him in the lane :}}} (he was in a snub).
