OORP -> Quite frankly, people don't like to fight because ether they always get beaten by pros or that they would rather prefer to RP with WORDS rather thanGUNS. Often people come and ruin nice RP sessions with fights and that annoys people.
InRP -> Their Character might be scared of death. They might not want to fight, they might be pacifists so they want to save their own life.
I don't see why I should allow someone to kill me and claim a blue.
That differs between characters however. My more militaristic characters will usually see a fight until the end.

Again , it looks really ridiculous when after 30-40 mins of RP people just say kudos for "Nice RP" via PM , turn around and fly away (especialy when they are hostile to each other) . Some action can be fun too imo .

ooRP side - I never understood how fighting in this game isn't part of the RP. Sorry to say, but, 2 military characters from 2 fighiting sides that meet up have little to talk about. They both have a duty to kill one anther.
Not that I can't appreciate words RP, regardless, how is that tied to docking instead of just dying again?
inRP - > makes sense I guess. Though not for all characters.

Talking about more than just bounty hunting. I get that from pirates in NY who run from my navy as well.

OMG. Pirate ran from hostile. Kudos to those pirates, unless they initiated fight themselves.

Well, makes sense for pirates to run. They're nothing but simple rascals generally.

Again - what difference does it make? The pirate now cannot pirate in NY for 2 hours. I myself pirate in NY, and I am honestly asking you to tell me the logic behind this.
Also Snak3, I get it both ways - when I start the fight, or get fired upon.
Don't mistake it as an insult, I actually want to know xd

I didn't say it wasn't part of RP? I just said that some people are fed up of being killed all the time and that they wish to just simply RP with Words.

Because often people who don't want to fight dock because they're fed up.

I was only referring to a few character types where this would matter.

Who say's it has to be with the enemy? What if you're RPing with a small Bowex convoy as a BAFer and you've just finished your escort? Flying away would be acceptable. What if you you've had a good long RP with an enemy and he's given you justification for him to be innocent? You can let him go? There are many possibilities where it's not ridiculous. Just think.

Your choices.
Dock under fire -> 2 hours PvP death
Die in a PvP fight -> 2 hours PvP death
Fight -> Slim chance of winning or death
