Is there a way to disrupt the cloaking process? Been having conflicting answers on that subject from friends who play, so I'd like to know if CD'ing a cloaking ship is all in vain or not.
Unlimited cloak is a bad move, and Im sure im not the only who in this regard. And why would it make sense for a small morph to enhance such a power. Im not familiar with the nomad lore, but I doubt they are THAT advanced - everything requires something, thats universal, including aliens.
I like the idea of unlimited cloaks, but unless they are SRP'd for then they should have strict ZOI's like the regular Nomad ID. K'hara being an exception already, until another nomad war maybe they should be scaled back as well.
Yes you can disrupt any cloaking process. I suppose its a bug that you can engage your cruise engines, and begin to cloak at the same time, and a CD will disrupt both. Honestly all the people that complained cloaks were bad for disco had little to complain about, as using them to escape the 'blue message' fate was a rare and well executed tactic when it did happen. Especially after fighting begins, a simple CD makes your cloak useless as a countermeasure. Fighter cloaks are the only ones worth using for evasion like that, and even then you only get a small window to get to safety before you'll be right back where you started.

I have a cloak on a warran bomber. A CD will disrupt the cruise engines but not the cloak.

Well, I think its still the case, where you CD a ship engaging cloak, and it keeps trailing him until unselected.
