How about you relax.
Nothing bad happened.
And even though in your view a lot of things are wrong with the server and its players, it's not THAT dark as it seems to you now.
Step away from the computer.
Take a walk. Get something to eat.
Sleep one night.
Come back in a few hours, and look at the situation again.
You'll see: it's not even half as bad as it looked like before.
Omicron Wrote:I recall a time when Zoners angered Corsairs & Core to an extend that both begun systematic killing of every single Zoner in Omicron and Omegas over accumulated issues they had with Zoner community and way they operated. There was completely identical finger pointing at the aggressors which eventually ended in "freedoms fighters" realizing they're not the strongest block in the region.
Mistakes of the past are being repeated as memories of the people do not reach 4.85, resetting the cycle anew.
As far as I remember that war, it happened thanks to the leaders of Zoner and said factions and their attitude, not because of members of the said factions, which is happening in this situation.

I've mentioned something. I'll mention that again. "This attitude destroys the server , and people ask why do people refuse to play ? This is one of the answers. Remember, and do, make a base yourself and work hard to sustain its life for more than a month, play actively in your characters and supply the base. Play like a madman."
Do this. Get into Chrystoph's situation. After you have worked hard to supply the base and make things in it, after you have spent many hours playing, get yourself into situation where it is nearly its destruction or maybe even destroyed by a faction outside its jurisdiction.
Tell me how you feel.
If this is the way it continues, people will start making faction(s) that are solely against the Order and others will start leaving where the remaining parties are angry. Yes, that is true.
EDIT: Referring to the thread "Done!" ~ by Chrystoph.
Instead of you gamers posing as experienced players who are trolling him , put yourselves into his perspective. He hasn't made any mistakes. Its the people that disliked the way he has played.
Those who posted against him in the said thread are not any better, thus should feel shamed and moreover should be banned permanently for harassing.
You are not even trying to understand how he feels. Shame.

Please don´t spread false information. Joint action happened, but was dismissed by admins before any harm to station happened. Nebula station was later destroyed by using KNF ships only as far as I know. And it wasn´t destroyed because had remains or artifacts, it was destroyed because they made cloak factory there despite Kusari laws forbid cloaks and when KNF/government ordered to stop this, station owner showed middle finger at them with arrogant attitude instead of trying to solve the situation because he probably thought that KNF can´t gather enough ships to destroy the base. He was wrong and he simply paid for his own mistakes.

This way you post otherwise, now let me see. I had certain conversation via skype with Admin Hawk, I hope he won't mind for me copying the text.

What is going on here ? I have not attended the siege itself, but from what I am hearing now, nobody is having the actual truth here.
Make/buy some friends and fight back. Its a game and I'm sure someone out there would love to pew this out and help defend your base. All part of the dynamics of this game.
Lord Vipex Wrote:InRP, the Order did not know of the presence of Drrobes ship at all.
If this is correct then the Order is just leading a fanatic war, posing as Omicron ( Sirius ) police.
Quote:Primary role: Protecting humanity against the Nomad menace
This way The Order is not doing its job, at all.
I think I should explain why the discovery of the TAZ persephone turned into this "fanatic war", since it appears that many misunderstand its inRP motivation.
It all started when two Order ships had moved to Shasta and the Order ships saw the effect attached to the Persephone that is known from nomad shield generators (as seen in Omicron Major, for example).
Their characters, able to recognise said effect based on experience/archived knowledge as nomad-related effect, interpreted that as nomad technology on the TAZ persephone and thus risk of infection. Larger Nomads have created tools to control or atleast influence humans before, and this could've simply been another creation like that according to the interpretation of the Order characters.
Obviously, to confirm or refute these suspicions, the Order demanded an inspection of the ship. However, this was initially refused by the TAZ, they have the full right to so. As such, the Order got their suspicions sort of confirmed. "Nothing to hide, nothing to worry about in an inspection"-attitude was present. What followed were inRP consequences, causing these hostilities that went on until today. Just because the Order is not shooting Nomads directly does not mean that they don't combat their influence and foil their plans.
It was explained plenty of times ooRP and inRP that it is infact not nomad technology. However, ooRP knowledge does not equal inRP knowledge, and the characters are free to not accept any statement as absolute truth. There was also the issue that no other fitting effect was available. The problem here is that in the game, it looked like a nomad shield, and any attempt to force a character that he must see something different than what is displayed is honestly simply pure powergaming. If I told your character that is experienced with nomad technology that this is infact not a nomad shield generator but an art sculpture, would he/she believe that without a doubt?
In any case, this conflict has not been resolved so far.

I was online at that time. This is what console said:
Quote:[30.10.2014 19:24:16] CONSOLE: Lots of out of ZOI ships in Kyushu. We suggest going home before you get moved.
As far as I know, Hawk got involved in rumours it was him who said that because Nebula owner is member of .j. faction It was later denied, but that´s Disco, some see cospiracy everywhere. And it may happen that one admin doesn´t know what other did. But console said what it said (I may have somewhere even screen) and after that at least RM ships went home as far as I know.

I understood how the Order perceived the attached effect on Persephone.
You just said it nicely for others to understand, and thanks.

I loled. Have you ever Read the Principia Discordia? I am very proud of how I RP my character, as well as how all my TAZ mates RP theirs. It even earned me an SRP approval besides Core 2 and 3 approval for my base, go figure.
Also, flaming the people that are trying to make the slate clean for the same people you are defending is not the way to go if you mean to succeed. I had the chance to discuss with Golly in skype after my last post on the other thread and for that reason I got nothing else to add here.
Your thread was locked. Why create another? If there's something dumber than provoking the guys with the caps is to provoke the admins.

Way to shut down someone's RP because they couldn't/didn't take the time to contact a modeller and work out how to insert a new effect just for 1 ship to make it look like what they wanted...
