What has this GNG group done wrong?

I know everyone hates them, but I've flown with and against them and I really don't see the problem.

Sure they rustle some feathers, but that's what keeps this game alive. I think it's problematic that official faction players escalate the confilict in-rp and make ultimate demands of this group, only to resort to sanctions/admin'ing to just because it's their right when they can't have their way otherwise. "A rogue would never challenge an officail rogue WARLORD111!!!" - aha, so this is what roleplay is? We have set roles decided by someone else, and we just have to act out the script. "I am the boss cuz I have a fancy tag, now do what I say". Pls... I've played single-player games that offered more in ways of roleplay.

Don't you realize that THIS is what's killing Disco? Your guys incessant need for ORDER and CONTROL promote a stalemate.

I am being real. A large group of players setting a bad example will influence the minds of players negatively. Both new and old.

I agree with Mimir here. The GNG create regular pews in NY and I normally enjoy pews. One can discuss the use of a few ship types and the spamming of special (broken?) loadouts, but that has been also done by highly respected factions.

I'd find it sad to see the group gone/forced out.
Pews are hard to get in Disco. And they offer it, daily. It's not always fun, it's not always fair, it's not always completely inside rules, but that's the same with every pews.
