Dude, they are waging two different wars already. Liberty is surely powerhouse, but they are not stupid enough to cut out their only source of money. If Liberty did that, it would mean definite end with Bretonia-Liberty Alliance, as Bretonia would see Liberty as bunch of incompetent idiots who just cut out their only source of money - and would rather surrender to Gallia than have a rather mentally handicapped ally.
Not that Rheinland-Liberty don't make any sense, as both Liberty and Rheinland are dependant on each other.

*ahem*
Honestly, I'd really like to see Gallia's massive plot armor go away. The excuse of having 50,000 fleets to justify basically being able to do whatever the hell they want is a cop-out at best, and is getting quite tiring to hear at this point. Liberty has this problem as well, to a much lesser extent.
Gallia needs to be brought to everyone else's level Liberty needs to lose sometimes Rheinland needs a new source of income to suddenly turn their ***** economy (and by extension, penny-less military) around Bretonia needs to build more ships, chalk up a few wins in the war and shakily stand on its own again Kusari needs activity
The Maltese nation needs to expand more The Cretian nation needs to be toned down a bit
the Nomads should totally gain resurgence and start killing everyone again (new Nomad front in the Omegas anyone?)
n-no...
everything else sure w/e
kill liberty
planet Houston military owned
best no more cardamine

If we'd only go for logical and common sense lore, we'd have Sirius at peace. Mistakes are made all the time by some leaders (Hitler attacking USSR is an example).
This is how I see Liberty right now: A very powerful house. With a military force as strong as GRN. The war with Rheinland is pretty much over and Liberty's involvement in Bretonia is not extraordinary. Knowing that Gallia and Kusari are allies and Rheinland is also trading goods with the two, they decide to disrupt the economy of Kusari that seems to be the trade node of Gallia-Kusari-Rheinland. They're overconfident, yes but we need Liberty to lose at one point, right? KNF is still reforming and now it faces not one but 3 important enemies: Exiles+CR+FA, LN, BD+GC).
The long term ideas are even more... radical.

Kusari's fleet hasn't recovered yet. It's not that difficult. Space supremacy would be achieved fast. The problems would come on the ground but because Junyo has only one island, the Ishizuki Plateau, that'd be conquered fast too.
Gallia
A major combined strike (BAF, LN, Council, CR) from Manchester and Newcastle pushes to Leeds and retakes the system. Gallic forces are trapped in New London. The Council conquers Burgundy and Lorraine and starts its push towards Ile-de-France. And for the first time since the first Gallic War, the sealed gates in Maine and Lorraine open. Gallia's older enemy has returned, this time enhanced by some nom nom race (believed to be the one that blew up the Sun so expect some big ass unique ship with a big ass gun that can fire big ass stuff... and then die or vanish).
So this means pretty much that Gallia gets fucked starts loosing on all fronts.
Kusari
The civil war is coming to a close, with KNF being defeated for good. The Exiles and BD continue their struggle for power and no side manages to gain the upper hand. Kusari is split in half:
- The True Kusari Republic: BD+Kishiro
- The Empire of Kusari: Exiles+Samura+FA
Due to their shady business and connections with the Outcasts, the GC are swept away by the BD, remaining the main unlawful element in Kusari. However, the Hogosha that didn't take sides in the conflict have also turned to full piracy, becoming a rival of the GC in the unlawful world of Kusari.
Liberty seems to favor the Imperials and LSF have been seen aiding the Exiles.
Liberty
Their attack on Rheinland meets heavy resistance and after RM retreats from Omega-3, they attack LN, pushing them back to New Hampshire. Meanwhile, the Hellfire Legion gains access to Willard Research Station and Planet California Minor and thus controls the south of California. Fighting on too many fronts, Liberty retreats from Bretonia, leaving their allies to fight the remaining GRN elements. The returning forces engage the Hellfire in California. As that wouldn't be enough, a major Nomad attack happens in Alaska. The two prison stations are lost and the personnel is... well, nomadized
Rheinland
After seeing that the situation is not in their favor in Omega-3 and Liberty attacked once again, RM decides to pull out and get back to their war against Liberty. However, they need the resources in Dresden so they attack that system with a considerable force. Numbers are similar but the RH are outgunned so they are trying a flank attack through Stuttgart.
Bretonia
Managing to resist the Gallic invasion, BAF now launches strikes against the royalists trapped in New London. and Leeds. The Molly finally conquer the entirety of Dublin, occupying Graves and giving it to IMG in exchange for Hood.
This would give us 3 major powers: Gallia, Liberty and Rheinland on pretty much the same level; and a number of smaller powers like: a beat up Bretonia, Hessians, Corsairs, Outcasts, Council and the new Gallic alien stuff on the same level.
And then there's the really weak stuff like the two Kusari factions, GMG, CR, Hellfire, that are still having a say on the Sirius-wide politics.
I understand the ideas I gave are not shared by many of you but those are just speculations; stuff that I'd see like possible to happen in Disco. Nothing more.

Hey, it would be good to make civil war inside Kusari, as both Dragons and Exiles would see a chance to hit Kyushu (KE) and Hokkaido (BD), as they would see KNF is unable to sustain Liberty Blitzkrieg in Shikoku.
This however would make Kusari a victim who was target of the Libertonian agression. Only few, like Exiles, would know why such assault was made. Yet there must be a reason for Liberty to attack, like Kusari banishing BHG again from their space.

You are not aware on the actual roleplay, it seems. Kishiro and Dragon relations are no more, as Kishiro became the new supply dog for KNF, as far as I understand. Even BD| guys told me that. They hate each other. I'd more point out GMG, Order, BD, as these three are now rather allied (GMG is mutual ally to both Dragons and The Order).
