Everything has to die eventually, even this game. People need to respect the rules and that's all there is to it. Break a rule, get punished. If Tutashkia wanted a terrorist ID, he had all the time in the world to get one by doing the same stuff other people do to get them. Or are you suggesting we just hand them out whenever you feel like having a ship with higher capabilities than what you/your faction would normally get?
Either way, no one is killing activity. Someone got punished for not adhering to advice that was given to him about not abusing his ID. He didn't listen, he got slapped. Now he won't make the same mistake again. That's called learning from your mistakes. If he leaves, then tough luck. There are MUCH better games out there to play anyway.
If any innocents were sanctioned as a result, let that be a lesson to them next time they fly with people that are known to skirt rules. Just lighten up Mimir, it's just a game after all. No one is forcing you to play it.

Terrorist IDs are meant to be reserved for SRPs with active RP behind them. They shouldn't be handed out to someone because they decide they don't want to follow RP restrictions anymore.
They should rotate a Terrorist ID from a group of worthy individuals on a weekly basis. Like Garrets.Thor was rotated through factions.

That's why I'm not discussing anything. I already pointed out that I made an exception to pick up more interesting idea.
Back to the JD topic, I believe it's more just to offer items to counter cloaks and jumpdrives, instead of breaking them. In this way, the ones to be blamed won't be devs, cloak/JD owners or - on contrary - ones who nerfed these two, but a side that did not bring tech to counter such technology.

Won't comment about SRPing the Terrorist ID, if it was possible for Tutashkhia he'd have already had a Terrorist ID and no sanctions.
@QuinnZai Can't disagree with you, I'd write the same if I were in your position. You're right, if someone doesn't obey the rules, he/she gets punished. That's the rule for everyone.
Just can't agree with you about your last paragraph. They had no idea about all this Tuta's sanctions and warnings and so on, so they don't deserve losing ships.
What's about us being an ID violators or not... let's see what will happen. I don't consider myself as an ID violator.
