Why is this TS3 server hosted on ATHP licensed provider? You can easily buy any cheap VPN for ~4-5$ per month and get NPL license (you'll need a website with mail to get it, even a free hosting will work, but you'll need 2nd tier domain for that) for 512 slots. You'll also get white IP, an ability to set port to default one (9987) and ability to easily install something like JTS3ServerMod or any serverbots.
I see only two advantages of ATHP - slightly better DDoS protection and easier setup.

i originally didnt set up the ts, at the time when we started it, it seemed the easiest and cheapest at the time and as a good few use it, i dont see the need to change and as you said better DDos protection was another reason, as at the time the disco server was under attack and i didnt want to risk the ts going tits up aswell

DDoS protection depends on hosting. So it's hard to say, but you can likely buy VPN from same hoster as disco server is on. By the way, if you need someone with good permission system knowledge, I can help.

The TL;DR TeamSpeak is used buy a lot of people these days, it’s clear to see that it is needed, today for example there were 18 users online

Now to keep it going if just $2, not a lot is it, of whatever currency you guys have can be donated, it will continue to provide you with the service of which you need and use

Pretty sure that's a client side issue. Try logging onto some other TS server that has custom icons and see if they load up. Because you may have something blocking the download of these images.
