You guys (yes Congress, talking to you) need to get it through your heads that this is a roleplaying server, and that there are roleplaying consequences for roleplaying actions. Damn right Liberty and any other lawfuls are going to ask you to FR5 outlaws docking on your bases, or fine you for it, or just shoot you outright.
It's a shame, really, because I see the Junkers as having a lot of potential as a really smooth niche faction who would calmly wave something like this off going "sure sure, we'll take care of it.." and then offer some sort of service as compensation for the lawfuls to turn a blind eye. (Maybe try supplying some POBs? You don't seem to have any trouble maintaining a healthy five or so in your own little chunk of Sirius). And then use the money made from those services to hire mercs to shoot the lawfuls.
If you can't walk the walk then don't talk the talk. You as a faction are in a very unique situation to roleplay your way out of just about anything, but here you are asking for admin protection on the forums and asking people to turn a blind eye to you so as to maintain the quasi lawful status you had in vanilla rather than trying to uphold it through your own actions.
Basically all of this. The Junker ID is possibly one of the most overpowered in the entire game. In-roleplay, Junkers ARE the Black Market and crossing them is supposed to have "consequences". You literally have an unlimited number of activities and goals to work on, whether you're attempting to prop up a certain group of unlawfuls, make inroads to gain influence in Kusari, or perhaps do as aforementioned and "compensate" the lawfuls when people keep docking on your bases. Those people giving you a bad name are exactly the ones that the Junkers would want to "disappear".
Instead we get this thread. No offense, but from what I've seen so far of the Junker Congress and the reputation they have, the limitless amount of stuff they have available to them in this server seems wasted on very non-creative members.
Durandal's given great advice, it's up to you guys to act on it.
To add on Durandals advice. Junkers are known for selling out other criminals if it gets them out of harms way. Of course that would require more in depth Rp than just supplying pobs.

So even if we would agree that exact locations of Junker bases are secret inRP because for example they are moved all around (and thus lawfuls should not camp there, that is really not right), it will make no difference for majority of situations this thread is connected to.

A reason why Officials tend to send these is mostly spite. They are angry their blue got away from them and want to make things annoying for the person in question, if they have to bully another faction to do it than so be it. All hail the allmighty Blue.
This subject has been brought up time and time again, it's unlikely to change unless a majority of factions/admins can agree this behaviour is harmful to gameplay/roleplay.
>Respond to transmissions saying you'll deal with it
>Never actually put in the request
>When asked why the ship isn't fr5'd yet blame it on the admins taking ages to process your request
So we should just ignore indies? Is that what you say? That will also make me miss the serious RPers between them.
Also no one said that they have to be FR5. Durandal made some nice suggestions as to what the Junkers can and should do. A couple posts above this I made some other suggestion.
