It's okay as it is, no need to change that. Haulers should be more alert since now you can come on a Corsair/Hessian and take his ore and sell it nearby, if he has escorts it would be almost impossible. Also, what would stop the hauler to just go and sell it to o41 Freeport rather then go to, for example, Kusari?
1 jump, ~ 5k / unit profit.
6 jumps, ~10 k / unit profit.
If you run a miner and a freelancer/junker/neutral transport, you can make astonishing cred/sec and do not contribute anything to choke-point interaction. That's a waste of potential.
Short routes like that are not as conducive as they could be.
They are mainly interesting for powertrading.
2-3 systems, and things would be better, imo.
Definitely keep the unlawful selling points! I like the increased danger! (So don't get me wrong).

I've just done some testing a few minutes ago, in dublin as a molly flying a hegemon between the dublin field and the sell point in Londonberry Kilrea Orbital Station solo you can get around 15,000-17,000 credits per second depending on your speed at shooting the shinny rocks, if you mine with two players, one miner one transport, you could likely get about 19,000 credits per second, if it was split evenly, i believe a single miner could manage to constantly produce enough gold ore to allow two, maybe even three, transports to never go out of cruise at the field.
I don't know what the acceptable rate of credits per second is, but this seems slightly too high to me, and that is not even considering the great bonuses, not being pirated by mollies, a single system jump, one of which is a guard system, with dublin being a fairly safe place for mollies, no trade lanes, other routes can't compete with this, it's just way too easy.

Profit is apparently not an issue in your case, if we pick 16 500 from your range of 15 000 - 17 000 and count in that your Hegemon has 2 750 cargo space, that yields us a solid 600 c/s/u. However, as been discussed and concluded a few minutes ago on skype among a few people, traders on shorter routes are harder to intercept and have interaction with.

Pretty much this. Even if they were working, all of the sellpoints are extremely low and Junkers dont even have access to one of the main viable sellpoints.
In all honesty if we're going to stick with the whole "main" sellpoint scheme for ores, which itself is flawed I think that there should be four main sellpoints for pscrap, two accessible to unlawfuls ie gamma / alpha and another two accessible for ALG but not Junkers ie the current gallic one and then perhaps Yukawa shipyard in Honshu.
