That's the point, Sasa. You encounter a player who is going to kill you regardless. At that point the character is saying "So, if you could just do me a favor and off yourself, that’d be great. Thanks, pumpkin. "

EDIT :
Since it is Terorist ID , it is possible to do something regarding this , for example , if i am to fly with friends and you stop as , it may be possible to demand death of one to let others go free , it would be in terrorist spirit .

It is as if to say that most people we have right now are so mentally weak that they cannot handle losing or bad things happening to them. If you go into a game expecting to win every time, you do not stick around for long. There is no challenge to it. If we look down at our members and build a ruleset and guidelines like that of a mother's skirt to hide under all day, then what is the point of Discovery being based on Freelancer and not Farmwille?

Once again...

Go and kill them. Go taunt them and kill them. That´s fine, you are Xenos, that´s your RP.

But what you describe have (apart the frustration) potential to create simple reaction - that playing along and fulfilling demands of unlawfuls has no sense because they will kill you anyway no matter what you do.

You like playing on the edge (sometimes even on the edge of the rules) and you have no issues with being a target, That´s fine but not everyone is the same.

But it seems this discussion leads to nowhere as we both have our views which can´t be changed so I guess there is no reason to continue it. Time to wait for green statement.

On a ragebreak. Or ragequit. Time will tell.

There is a difference between ignoring the other sides' feelings and doing roleplay that is not '2milordai'. But as I said, the hugbox is progressing even further.

No offense, of course, I just voiced my opinion. I feel that the overreacting of so many people, the incredible amount of rules, sanctions, greentexts hidden somewhere and so on and so forth make RP ingame further than the usual few lines comprising your ID unecessarily hard to do. It goes to the extent that I do not even enjoy flying ingame as some characters (Rogues, for instance) anymore and usually stick to the forums. Sure, other people might have a different approach to it, but imho a server that advertises itself as roleplaying server should value roleplay over rules, and stop trying to sanction or whine about everything that is maybe hurting their character a bit. There can be lots of interesting RP interactions found in those kind of demands, but everything that differs from the usual interactions is deemed inappropriate these days.

Not always the right option, sometimes RP can dictate why you (Your Char) would do something. For example instead of just destroying you, if you are outnumbered, a Wild might try use Mind tricks to get you to kill yourself, your going to die anyway, might as well have fun eh?

I feel sorry for all those unable to spot the difference between pirates and terrorists. Truly.

Well I don't know about killing them despite them fulfilling even their RP demand (getting harder and harder to please you it seems sindroms), even though there'd be nothing stopping you, sure...consider this logic: If you are cleared to kill them anyways, and want to offer to let up your attack or waive your right to kill them, in exchange for some kind of RP action, what is there to stop you? nothing, there doesn't seem to be any rule prohibiting when and why you want to break off an attack when using such an ID. You are thinking Xeno that's fine, but in regards to recent RP demand changes, I suggested the actual SRP'd Terrorist ID as a broad ranging option. They don't give out many anymore, but who is really, and I mean REALLY trying? Either way, if you can kill them already, the 'when and why' you want to [stop attacking] to let them live is up to you. Also just for the record, to those who still weap over the 'death of RP demands', my problem was never with the RP demands, but more so, what ID you were using at the time. This may be an RP server like Char says, but we still should maintain some 'order' so players have half a chance of knowing what to expect, and that means the bottom line comes from what's written. If it had been Xenos ID's that time instead of Rogues, well I'd have expected to be attacked instantly and destroyed even faster...so if a Xenos had told me to let him pick off my turrets to avoid a fight/death, I just may take that option.

Thanks for being offended about not even mentioning you. And thanks for still not understanding what this interaction was about. Back on topic, though...

I think the idea Spazzy mentioned is perfectly reasonable and fine. Don't see any reason why it should be seen as problematic. Overreglementation will keep being a bad thing, no matter how much people are unable to seperate character and player from each other. I would approve of a situation in which threads like these would not even be necessary, because common sense can be applied, but that's utopian. RP tops rules, imo. And since in that case no rule applies that speaks against it, I would say that it's fine.

Honestly I think this is hilarious and would say "why not".

I want to get off Mr. Igiss' wild ride.
