It's just sad to see the event "sabotaged" in the way it is by the OC decision to throw their siege in just now.
I have a hard time seeing this part "Both sides are preparing by shipping supplies to the front lines, which will later allow the construction of specialized ships to aid them in the battle" (see announcement) happening when CR does not have ships in Taus any more because they have to be ready for 2 weeks to defend on a moment's notice, and GRN going "ye, we do not want to play. Let's be Outcast!".
Well done.
That's the way to kill off a long-planned event and the effort invested into it.

Are you implying that being killed ~ 10:0 twice in a row in snubs by superior snubs flown by vastly superior players is enjoyable?

The Nyx is not a good group-fighting ship.
It is a good duel ship.
It is inferior to the GRN ship.
But the much more serious factor is pvp-skill or lack of thereof.

The nyx is a glorious ship not sure using the argument of "grn ships op" is relevant when the cr line dominates the GRN one at everyturn considering the changes to the valor.
If im also correct, youre getting a dread soon.
Theres an easy way to solve the "whos better" issue it rhymes with bonn.

The nyx has one of the highest reaction times in the game, where as the lynx as the reaction time of a drunk driver about to hit a poll.
The issue isnt in ships, its in knowning how to move your cursor in an infinity symbol.

I didn't really plan this event or invest any effort into it. @Thyrzul and [C] are the driving force behind this event, not me. I agreed to participate because GRN| loses effectively nothing from sacrificing Tau-44 and because it helps our counterpart faction advance their lore.
I am not sure if @Thyrzul cares to comment, but there is a reason my main original objection to this concept when it was first brought to my attention months (maybe over a year?) ago was that I didn't want CR| or IMG| to be involved. Unfortunately I only got half my wish, and so I still have to deal with the same incessant whinging from the same people who I spend, frankly, far too much time trying to appease. Expect a policy change

I am just going to say it. If you don't like playing against =CR= or IMG| or even [C] then why the hell are you leading and playing GRN| or infact why the hell are you even playing this game still with your poor attitude?
