Yes, the filter is applied before the post's BBCode is parsed. That is why you can type shit if you put some empty bbcode in between it.

I mean...people who don't want to use Discord because Skype works fine and they're used to it...okay...but Discord is a far superior program with much more application and configuration than Skype. Also no ads...free dedicated hosting...roles...multiple channels...it's literally TeamSpeak + Skype put together.
