We will be seeking officialdom in the long term, though considering no official factions are presently being added,
it's a stretch goal rather than an immediate one.
Our Chief Concern right now is providing excellent RP to anyone interested in playing with us, as well as a fun and fair enviroment if it comes to any confrontation.

You want to Administer Barrier Gate Station?
Everyone told me no one can do that.
Why is it that all of a sudden everyone is OK with this?
What the hell.
I do apologize for missing your comment!
Yes, that is the stated goal of our faction. When we asked behind the scenes, we received nothing but interest, and overall approval, though there are of course fair voices of criticism over the idea.
We're going to do our best to do this position justice.
Thank you for your interest though, any kind of discussion or question is good.

this. I know by lore that Barrier Gate is owned by a rich independant man but this necessarily cannot be upholded by the rules, what is it that you'll bring to the community? what new aspects are we to expect?

Well thank you very much for pointing out this link to us.
It's a very valid point, we'll simply have to see how the administration team decides on this, weather administration for one specific station can be permitted.
And if it cannot, well then we'll have still enjoyed any interaction in the attempt of it.
Thanks for pointing this out, your continued interest and criticism is appreciated.

Firstly, and perhaps we should have said this in the faction info, we will not be Role Playing the specific owner of Barrier Gate, as we internally view said person as an 'Admin Character' if that makes sense. We are playing the Security and Administration team, not the actual owners of the station. That wasn't your question though, and I apologize for rambling on that point.
As for what we'll bring, we're eager to provide an area for expanded role play between the Crayter Republic, Freelancers and Unlawfuls alike around Barrier Station.
Primarily, I will admit, we're interested in Role Playing the tension hinted at within Barrier Gate's infocard, we believe it could be a great source of both Role Play and activity in regards to how the Diplomacy is Handled.
Barrier Gate's position as a hub of mixed activity (lore wise) puts it into the perfect position for all kinds of RP, and that's exactly what we aim to provide.
There are plenty of Freelancer ID'd factions out there, we're confident we can provide something more though!
Thank you for your criticism and your support with it, it means a lot to us.
I tried to Administer Newport before and that was a big no no from the Admin team.
I've also discussed even partial Administration of Barrier Gate and that was shut down as well.
Seriously... I would find it highly surprising if all of a sudden the Administration team changes their mind.

Also to edit: The AFC ID is on Barrier Gate atm
And so is the Auxesian ID.
The AFC certainly has a sizable presence on the Station, as does Auexsia (I feel like I'm spelling that wrong somehow), and RP with both groups is something we're definitely after.
We hope you're looking forward to the Role Play as much as we are!

that's because AFC is /trying/ to control the station, these guys just want to roleplay as the guards, which I see no problem with as they're not trying to control the environment directly by acting head. another thing is with afc, they have their own political influence and aren't really 'freelancers' because of this. these stations are intended to be neutral, non-controlled, entirely wild-card sectors.
btw, BGS, our ID is just sold there because it's a neutral station, we have no other location for a sellpoint.
