Personally I think a Siege notice shouldn't be needed and bases should be made weaker. Yes a lot of people will cry about their bases being blown up, but space is harsh. In turn bases should be made easier to build/maintain

Nah but on a serious level that would just lead to the Base Hunters MkII if anyone remembers that? A lot of hard work goes into bases and their upkeep so it's understandable why people would cry. Using the excuse "Space is Dangerous" is a poor one and has been used to ill justify lots of wrong doings in Discovery.

So, you will agree if ship died in siege will be deleted with all weapons? Because space is harsh in both sides.
Just to note everybody who use this excuse, even in EVE sieges goes in specified hours, what allow make actual response, and siegers can siege it only while they have ships and money for it. Any changes of current systems should affect both sides.
People who say that the siege notice rule is bad are the kind of people who have zero experience with POBs outside of shooting them, and thus are entirely useless to any discussions relating to POBs.
Why?
Suppliers need zero roleplay to log their 5kers and supply a base that doesn't even have an allied IFF. Defenders need no roleplay to log random unlawful cruisers to defend a base. Why should attackers have to?

What about the POBs that do roleplay to get suppliers in 5kers involved? What about POBs that do roleplay to get additional help in defending those POBs?
