v0.6 is up.
Cleaned up some messy bits, refined the smoothing and kicked the tricount down to 2.5k. Apparently that's ok for FL engine.
That's the mesh basically done (I'll probably give it another cleanup pass but it wont have much of a noticeable effect on the general look of it). So, if you have any feedback regarding its general look, now would be a good time to post.
Next up is textures.
P.S: If anyone with any clue about FL modeling sees anythin iffy, do point it out. Would be much appreciated. This was the first model I had to do with any sort of tricount constraint, so it could use a pair of more experienced eyes going though it and double-checking just to be sure.
Was caught up with some work stuff in the past weeks and had to drop this thing altogether. But work stuff is done, and so is the textures for this thing. Well... mostly done. The armor bits still need some details put into em, and the whole thing needs a cleanup pass and re-adjusting some of the tones and values.
But feel free to share any feedback you may have on its general look.
P.S: The BW Trans is also mostly-done, but not mostly-done enough to post yet.
Adjusted some colors (it looked too desaturated ingame) and added some weathering and more detail to the armor. With that, textures are more or less done. It needs another cleanup pass and some minor adjustments to make it look more consistent with rest of the mod, but unless some feedback results in a change, this would be the final (general) look of the ship.
