Honestly, bring back the old mining areas in example the Manchester mining field, the omega 7 three diferent mining areas, the raw hidros in omega 3.
Although it be normal inRP for mining areas to be depleted the truth is that mining brings activity, from miners and escorts to pirates and such.
So yeah, mining areas shouldnt disapear, at the most they should move around within the same sistem, thus avoiding the useless PoB RP situations we have been seeing every time there is a change like that. Just a thought.
I think that's actually a very promising idea Karlotta and I endorse it completely. Texas always rubbed me the wrong way because it's not an activity center, despite whatever claims are made to the contrary. I don't think anybody could say that New York would possibly be a bad idea though, and it would be very noob friendly.
MAIN - Rheinland - Planet New Berlin - Rheinland Police - $13850
MAIN - Kusari - Narita Outpost - Kusari State Police - $8347
MAIN - Omicrons - Omicron Rho - Alabama Shipyard - The Core - $8961
The Narita Buypoint with 8,3k seems a bit too high for just 3 jumps from the mining field in Languedoc to New Tokyo. 6,5k should be enough there
The Buypoint at Alabama in Rho gives only $600 more. Alabama desrerves a buff anyway. You get 13k at New Berlin, but only 8,9k in Rho. The price there should be atleast at 11k
The following ores are affected by an upcoming story arc:
The Bretonia-Gallia war ends in the near future anyway and the Kusari-Bretonia Tau route will be available for Traders again. From the 4.91 announcment thread:

Instead, traders will be able to fly from New London to New Tokyo through the Taus right away once the war is over.
Platinum Ore, Field in Nagano:
The main Platinum Ore Mining corp Samura can't go to Rheinland anymore because of the war. Rheinland has, as you can see below, the best buypoint.
MAIN - Bretonia - New London - Waterloo Station - Interspace Commerce - $8015
MAIN - Rheinland - New Berlin - Planet New Berlin - Rheinland Police - $9425
Would be nice to have an adequate alternative. The buypoint price at Waterloo is too low. This one still exists because of the disabled field in Alberta i guess. This deserves a buff (to 11k?)
Raw Hydrocarbons, Field in Tau-53:
MAIN - Rheinland - Munich - Planet Nuremberg - Rheinland Police - $8287
MAIN - Kusari - New Tokyo - Narita Outpost - Kusari State Police - $6461
MAIN - Gallia - Ile-de-France - Sarcelles Shipping Facility - IDF Shipping - $7300
Same as with Platinum Ore. Samura can't go to Rheinland these days. An additional buypoint at Planet Houston in Texas with a decent price (10k?) would be much appricated. Also. A lawful buypoint at 6,4k only two jumps from the field is too high. Should be removed.
Helium-3, Field in Sigma-59:
MAIN - Liberty - New York - Planet Pittsburgh - Deep Space Engineering - $8944
MAIN - Bretonia - Newcastle - Scarborough Station - Bowex - $9939
MAIN - Omicrons - Omicron Mu - Akabat - The Order - $7716
Iirc, the GMG leader requested a price buff at Scarborough and PL Pittsburgh for H-3 a few weeks ago, because the field now has one jump more (the field was in Sigma-19 before). I think that's a good idea. Though. I don't like the run to Newcastle that much. I don't know what the GMG thinks about it. But can we move that buypoint to a Station in New London with a decent price? 12 or 13k?
and also, an idea, is there anyone who want a mining field in his bathroom, with the selling point in the garden? in case , we can adapt it
to be more serious, there is not other trade who works? it's fastidious! the only goal is to sell at the better price, i know the goal is the money to buy some different ships. i don't know how to explain it! there are some ore interesting to sell, i know 2, a 3rd was also very interesting vespucci---->colorado, the problem is only one way is used, the faster, no trader more everywhere. the vespucci was quiet as run and fast and profitable! but no client due to the kilometers damage
i think that the traders, and all of us have to think politic, you can sell something to an ennemi. Or you have no mind(it works for traders, they could sell their mother hi hi )
an idea came to me, change the sale points, so you don't have to change the mining areas! be careful, I don't mean change for example from planet new berlin to manheim in frankfurt, the same for narita and roppongi or newcastle, a real change. the traders will be happy he he, and the pirates too!
with a bit of the capt dillan hunt's idea on the mining field

That is actually a very good idea to make P.Scrap mining to New York. A capital system in the heart of Liberty, looks like a promising activity hub.
Totally agree with this. Since the move of Premium scrap to Bering, there is no incentive for =DSE-, lawful liberties only mining faction (I think) , to mine anything. Copper I suppose but it is not a central route.

it is not simple
make money , without to have to work. No doubt, that your bases are ready!
And if say this, is to keep an interest ingame for the miner, or for the transporter, sometime, it's good to wait for a miner , if the traders have just to pass , charge, and back, it's fast, but thats all!
I fully understand the hurry of traders, but why always fix them, not make them a little more difficult. This has been well reduced for some time, and, I don't know if that would be a good idea, but why not raise the profit a little for the helium miners in Pennsylvania, they are the *beginners*
