There were a set of order ships on TLC with folding wings, before TLC crashed...I dunno if they've been put back up. Part of their docking animation, or something..cannae remember.

would add more RP to the point navy ships having folding wings so they took up less space on the carrier. Would have been cool to be able to push a key and extend wings and weapons for war. Would have made a nice cruise animation as well..
