Greetings, Liberty Police. I'd like to send in a missing persons report on one of my fellow Starfliers.
Three days ago, I sent off my chief engineer Burton Grant to Planet Curacao to inspect a vessel alongside Orbital Spa & Cruise's own Jonathan Seabourne. It has come to my attention that Scotty is within some sort of invisible escape pod somewhere in the Cortez system. This is why I need you, to assist me in finding Burton to bring him home.
I'm not sure if I trust Seabourne enough to believe this... but he's let on that he and Burton stole an Enterprise-Class Liner together. Sounds ridiculous, but if he's telling the truth, I'd want to deal with this myself please. I'm only asking you for help to get my man back. I'd like to avoid a criminal record being put on my fellow Starfliers' history.

Good evening,
That was something I did not expect to arrive on my console as a communication I need to respond to. That being said, I've looked into the communication channel you gave the LPI access to and there's a few things that trouble me.
First of all, Cortez is a system that the LPI does not operate in as we have no reason to operate there. As you may - or may not - know, the Government has ceased to recognize systems bordering Liberty.. as Liberty. That means that the Law Enforcement cannot law enforce in systems directly connected to Liberty, meaning any operations in those systems are strictly handled by the Navy and the Security Force and they usually involve shooting down multiple small or large craft of foreign entity. That being said, however, I highly doubt that the former or the latter would be willing to spend resources in order to find one of the Starfliers' lost pod, so that would at least be a proper reason to contact the LPI. I'd like to ask you if you've contacted the Navy or the Security Force and if you have; what was their response?
Second of all, the fact that the pod has no transponders, no lights and no way of being detected by any scanner is not very reassuring. If you want me to be perfectly honest, it sounds like a joint prank by the Orbital Spa and Cruise and the Starfliers.
All of the above being said, I will be informing the rest of the Liberty Police Incorporated regarding this.. incident. Should any officers wish to rendezvous with your and the OSC's forces in Cortez to help with the search and rescue ops, I will need you to define a date, time and place of meeting.
Last but not least, allow me to clarify this; no official orders will be given to any LPI officers that they are allowed to operate in the Cortez system. Any officer arriving there will be present only for the search and rescue operations.
That is all.
With regards.

You can trust that I'm not sending out a missing persons report to get a laugh. I have no idea why this escape pod is invisible. Sounds like a question for Jonathan Seabourne.
I understand the Cortez System is outside Liberty Sovereign Space, however we need as much help as we can get to get my man back. I haven't contacted the Liberty Security Force or the Navy, simply because they have bigger things to do. As you said, warships coming from other corners of Sirius are their concern. I'd appreciate it if any message was relayed to your superiors. Currently, I'm on my way to Planet Curacao to organise a SAR fleet with Orbital's Board of Directors. I'll send out a message once things are in motion. Maybe the Bounty Hunters can assist us here.
