I also didn't claim this was intentional, it is merely an assumption based on the fact that the system lost most connections. The supposed "bias" for Bretonia does not exist, we just had an actual presence there in terms of players in comparison to the 3 RM players that have ever ventured there.
We have done a lot more Roleplay than Bretonia - this event was organized by RM as well.
Poole remaining while Stuttgart being removed is just an oversight. Rheinland has two corporations with primary Ore there compared to one Bretonian too.
It's just a clear error/oversight from the dev team that needs to get fixed. The reasoning in patch notes is bloat, not serious imtentional and one sided gameplay nerf/limitations.
I figured this would be a complaint, so I preempted it by starting a discussion around adding Tau style ZOI lines to Omega 48, or simply adding the system to Rheinland IDs.
Slinging accusations of bias when the Poole hole (and historically Dublin hole) always connected to 49/48 is pretty childish and unfounded. Rheinland system connections were added when they never existed (did Rheinland ever have anything close to 47? No), if anything the previous layout was overly favouring Rheinland, particularly as the house was not doing so great in terms of activity and the new system was seen as a potential boost (that never really materialised).
Again refer to the point that it's been examined as a rule change rather than a hamfisted system change that turns the system into a spider web of connections.

Bretonia keeping the connection is fine as the Core are their main allies and it also makes sense for what used to be Omega-49 to be kept within Bretonian lawful ZOI.
Core are also Rheinland allies, we have done roleplay with them AND the system.
@Markam
You also removed CORPORATE ZOIs. That activity never materialised is a lie. Player request is made to re-add Zois but honestly why bloat all those Ids?. Bretonia is obviously favoured here - why do you invoke past connection when your argument is system design in the first place? That you have favoured Bretonia here heavily is a simple fact - so don't be surprised I bring it up.
There is also this merged Beryllium Ore masterplan in the system - it just makes no sense you remove that connection and leave Poole besides intentional or unintentional bias, I am sorry.

This is useless - who we fought mostly were Coalition and unlawfuls. Whatever little Hessian vs lawful Activity there was given how dead they were before the new faction was in Omega-48. We don't want lines vs BAF in 48 we need Zoi and a connection there. You have other jump holes to choose from that won't impact gameplay this negatively and you know it.
- Many thanks for acknowledging Gendarmerie EDIT: nvm, new NPC faction - exactly the opposite of what I asked for lol. My people will not play the ID - not sure who will, seems dead on arrival?
- Fighter Bombers are fun to fight against - wonder what will happen with those! Kinda jealous Gallia has none now frankly! *cough Plier to bomberfighter cough*
- Freighter changes leave space for actual profitable small cargo routes I've been trying to help work out from the route ide that don't need to be nerfed to the ground profit wise now. This is very good I'd say/decent tradeoff - Lfs can be the dedicated trolling ships now.
- Great econ changes, criminals for cops are fantastic, refugee price buff before Insurgency dies is very welcome. If I played one of the factions with Shipping bonuses I'd love them too. - AI BOMBER, AI BOMBER WOOP WOOP I don't think anyone hoped, whoever finished it - thank you .
- Corvo solar around sci-data mining area is a nice touch, could be deployed to the others also
- Custom PoB models are a great step, can't wait to see them - but the more the better
- barge handling buff is very cool. I don't fly them myself but love seeing them around!
- Zurich Starsphere looks great, the asteroid fields more passable but with worse visiviliby is a nice/mysterious touch. There are some tweaks like music and Davos distance to TL but the system is great, can't wait to explore the wrecks!
- City reworks are just a nice detail I am curious someone took their time with - it's not something you even notice but now I will
I do not like replying when you have already been given your answer, as it is just encouraging you.
But I will give you one last chance to understand the situation.
- The system was changed because it was a hot mess of connections, one of which was Stuttgart, a very weird connection design wise, but one that gave Rheinland ZOI.
→This is a Systems design decision, a change to improve the quality - too many connections is bad, there were *7*. This has nothing to do with factions.
- The ramifications of this change, made wholly as a Systems change, means that ID changes will need to be taken to return the system to the original gameplay concept, and these changes are being processed right now. IDs are far easier to edit than Systems, and IDs can be made to fit System design, so changing the ID is a far, far better decision than awkwardly creating connections to address issues.
→ Conflating this with Dev bias to one faction or another is not at all appropriate to the above situation, and frankly it should not be something that should be thrown about. If you want to continue raging about this (especially in spite the situation being actively resolved), I will advise moderators to clean up the spam and I will think twice about engaging with you in the future.

If all Rheinland Ids really are getting ZOIs manually re-added then that's fair enough and I thank you for your explanation!
I will admit that I have over-reacted without looking at the facts - Stuttgart => O-7 => O-48 isn't that much further than existing JH - if the ID s get fixed accordingly this will work without scrapping all that roleplay, fights, removing access to battlezone, events and needing of rework Beryllium Ore location again .
