The Gaians are unable to use Corsair weapons anymore, but Corsairs can use Gaian weapons still. I am assuming one of these two is an oversight.

Quite agree Sauron,
The Gaians, Alliance and Hogosha are so tightly linked and have been so in my fifteen years here. Why is there a sudden need to arbitrarily destroy our links Widkins? And regarding the Maquis? What is happening there? Unfortunately there seems to have been no consultation with the smaller factions in this process and little understanding of the relationships involved between us,
Please reconsider and take corrective action
Thanks and regards
I have brought this issue up with the story team in the meantime, and the rationale is that, due to past neglect and stagnation, these alliances (FA and Maquis primarily) remained largely undeveloped and lack solid foundations and long term viability. I've made my case for reinforcing them rather than tearing them down, but it is up to the story team on how to handle this.

But, of course there are always anomalies in this type of complex re-arrangement. I'm curious how it can be that the Corsairs can now use Hogosha ships at 100% while the Hogosha are reduced to 10% if they purchase a Corsaier ship? Makes no sense to me and not the sort of deal I would accept if I was in charge of the Hogosha. Please provide us with logic we can understand for this decision, if not necessarily agree with, or make the Corsairs and Hogosha equal at 100% compatible up to gunboat level as allies most likely would agree to.
Thank you
Rackham is right, Typical TAZ. please could you address this anomaly soonest?

The Corsairs are incredibly stingy with their ships, combat ships especially. If there was any change to this arrangement, it would probably be removing Hogosha ships (except the Raba) from Corsairs.

Story position on Corsair ships is that they simply shouldn't be bartering them to other factions. It clashes drastically with the faction's cultural mentality, and the value they (should!) place in those ships. Same for the Outcasts, really.
Outsiders with Corsair ships should be an extremely rare fringe case that would be better reflected through the exemption or SRP process.

@Wildkins
Crayter Republic has been long time allied with IMG, why they are defected to use their tech?
And can you keep the Renzu and Civilian Liners like Oasis and Enterprise at 100%?
I mean, Crayter has some Liner Corp marked as Intersun Luxury Liners, and losing that tech is.just being so badly for it...

May the ‘L1ght’ grant you wisdom my "Dear", Rules are there to teach, not to preach. Don’t enforce them like a tyrant’s whim, Especially when they’re as baseless as a beach. I was curious about the application of the civilian tech cell, since some seem to gain access via diplomacy. Which was the case for the Technocracy previously since we got the Rheinland cell via working with the MND OFL, likewise with Gallia with working with their Intel group, but this update revoked it and went by on the proximity basis.
Would it be possible to revert it back to the original 2 since there was more backing than for Bretonia heavies? I was going to perk request Liberty/+Blackmarket initially just before the update too, can slide it in again.
