My condolences. My personal relationship with Connor wouldn't be the one I'd call friendly, but this is a very unnecessary death in an unnecessary conflict.

Yeah. My gut knew we'd get this kind of message when I saw you asking for how to find this thread.
My sincerest condolences. That damn war first took @Vitoniz30 from us, and now Connor. I only had few interactions with him, but I know for sure he was the first person to blow my Mako up in PvP with the Nergal. We had a few brief talks on Discord where I helped him with formatting on a story about one of his characters, did some trading and a few fights in Conn, too. My last talk with him was rather cheerful as he set up an event award.
Connor loved what he did in Discovery, both as opponent as well as wingmate, roleplayer and administrator. Discovery was really important to him, a big part of his life and it was very visible that he wanted to give back as much as possible when he became administrator. In that time between his return from the war and his final departure, he seemed a lot more calm and just happy to hang out with people. That's how I will remember him.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. I had several run-ins with Connor here across the years, he was genuine a fun guy to be around. A few memories I'd consider the most fun this place ever gave me are directly tied to him. A shame I never really got to know him post this ingame silly fun.
I am certain he'll be missed dearly by many of our community too and I wish your family and especially his wife and child all the best for the future. May he rest in peace and may you find you all find peace with this tragedy, as hard as it can be.

My name is Jerry, or Agent 66, and I am Connor's father. I'm not really sure how to make this post but he wanted me to let you guys know if anything happened. I never thought I'd be writing this but here I am and this is incredibly difficult.
Two months ago Connor went back to Ukraine but this time was different. He wasn't there just to provide medical support but he went to actually fight. Connor joined a group of Foreign Legion who had English, American and Canadians in it where they were actively taking combat missions.
On the 15th of November I was informed that we lost Connor to the war. I don't want to share too much as it's quite personal but his squad was tasked to take a captured Ukrainian trench and bring it back under their control. He lost his life saving one of his fellow fighters dragging them to safety who because of Connor lived.
I don't really have much else to say but he wanted me to let people here know if anything was to happen to him. Discovery must have meant a lot to him.
Before Connor left he and his partner decided to get married. He also has a son on the way as well.
He's left us behind and has gone to a better place. I hope his efforts are not in vein. He will be missed by all of us at home who love him dearly.
Thank you all.
This is awful... I'm so so sorry for you and your family's loss. Thank you for letting us know. It's heartbreaking to find out that someone we've all known as a friend and pillar of this community for so many years has passed away. I know there's nothing we can do to help in this time, but if there's a collection we can send support to, either for your family or a cause he supported, please let us know.
This is so sad. He left a part of him there and he just had to go and try to get it back.
We have lost another good man to the madness of the world.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. You tell that kid that his father was not a coward and did it so we could all continue to be free from evil.
I didn't have many interactions with Connor but from everyone's messages, he seemed like a swell guy. Heartbreaking that we've lost another great person to this senseless war.
