From: Captain John Riley, Bowex)Chamberlain Source: Planet Manhattan, New York System, Liberty To: Bowex Information Network Re: Trade Report
Today, has been a peaceful day, except for a minor bit of unpleasantness. I picked up a load of Luxury Food to carry to Liberty. My trip out of Bretonia was uneventful. When I got to the Cortez system, though, I encountered a Gateway Interstellar convoy. They were somewhat less than polite. I stayed in system for a few moments engaging in a battle of wits with the ranks of the unarmed.
I would have loved to stay and humiliate them further, but my cargo was reaching a critical state and I had to break off my conversation and make that delivery. Fortunately, some spoilage is expected when hauling Luxury Food, and our contacts on Manhattan recieved the shipment without complaint. Well, no complaints other than the usual Libertonian complaints about the price of practically everything. I swear that Sirius has never known a cheaper bunch than those Libertonians. The way they act, you'd never know that they held more than their share of Sirius' wealth...
The spaceport staff is nearly done refueling my ship, and the load of Boron I'm bringing back is almost finished being loaded into my hold. I will file a full report upon my return to Bretonia.

Why hello old chap! This is Andrew Maloney, captain of the BES-Andrew.Maloney, just popping in to say hello! Feel free to call me Andrew, or Maloney. Or anything else that takes your fancy. Are you one of those new Area Managers I got a memo about? I'd heard there were a few about old chap! Ah yes, what was I here about... Bother my failing memory... Oh yes! The recruitment drive! Jolly good thing I remembered that, eh?
Well, Mr. Riley, I'll give you the Neural-Net codes to load the page. One moment please... Ah! Here we go! BowEx recruitment drive
If you need the names of any of our recent pilots, just pop over to the recruitment drive and have a read. Oh, and I have some terribly sad news... My Sub-District Manager Dave Green has been killed by a violent splinter organisation of the group formerly known as the Mollys. Over at Glasgow we're rather in a state of mourning. A terrible loss...
Well my friend, I anticipate seeing you in space at any rate. Maybe exchange a few notes about the runs HQ have given us?
Cheerio!

From: Captain John Riley, Bowex)Chamberlain Source: Planet Cambridge, Cambridge System, Bretonia To: Bowex Information Network Re: Trade Report
Good day, old chaps! Today has been a fairly profitable day to be in space. It's not been without it's problems, though. On my arrival here on Cambridge, having dropped off that load of Optronics from Leeds, I received orders to load up some prisoners bound for extradition to Rheinland. I'm really glad they started putting them in sleeper capsules a few years back. Makes them a lot quieter and easier to handle. After we secured the cargo, and the BPA officers escorting the prisoners boarded the Chamberlain, we left Cambridge and headed for Rheinland.
The trip through the Bretonia/Rheinland border worlds was uneventful for a change. Too often there's a corsair or two trying to earn a dishonest living off our labors. None of those presented themselves, and we entered Rheinland without incident. Upon our arrival in the New Berlin system, though, we came across a Kishiro trade ship, the KTS Kinai Maru. As usual, those yellow dogs were less than polite. He had the temerity to accuse Bretonia of actually being the aggressors in the war. Of course, I couldn't let this stand, and I introduced our noodlemuncher friend to the truth. We wasted little time offloading our prisoners and loading the engine components we we bringing back. I didn't want to give my crew leave priviliages, in case the Kusari ship landed at the New Berlin Spaceport as well. The last thing we need is to have crewmembers detained in Rheinland over something as stupid as a bar brawl.
Once we got our cargo loaded, we left New Berlin. Our return trip through the border worlds was equally uneventful as the first, and we arrived back on Cambridge without incident.
Why, good afternoon all! Been getting jolly good results just recently; the profits are just rolling in! Oh yes, I must concentrate, my report - jolly good thing I remembered that eh?
Well, I've been trialing numerous routes with the newly commissioned 'Shire' class Container Transport the Bowex)Bramall with my Co-pilot Arthur Brown. A wonderful ship may I just say! A few of my routes headed out to Liberty, and others to Rhineland. It's been rather nice sight-seeing around all three of the civilised Houses. Anyway, New Berlin does seem to be getting... Interesting.
Jut a few names to keep an eye out for my friends:
Firstly an Outcast in one of those Lane Hacker contraptions, a gunship I believe. I could be mistaken though, after all it's been a long time since my military days. Runs by the name of DarkG)-(ost, but doesn't seem to realise us Bretonians and the Outcasts generally speaking politely ignore one another.
Another is the KTS-Kinai.Maru, who is one of those Kusari dogs under the employ of Kishiro. I think Mr. Riley has encountered this one before as well. When I arrived in-system he was being relieved of his funds by a Hessian pirate. I had to laugh. We then got into some not-so friendly rhetoric in which the fool tried to pay the pirate to hunt me! The outrage! I actually had to charge my weapons and turn on turret controls to reassure the crew!
Also, have any of you chaps ever had one of those uncomfortable moments where you manage to escape by the skin of your teeth? Well, me too I'm rather afraid. Coming up on the Stuttgart jump gate, I had the misfortune of running into some [AU] fellows, which gave me an awful fright. However, they were chasing some other poor soul. I crossed my fingers and gunned my engines. After all, you never know when your luck will run out, eh?
Well, what can I say? Liberty can be frightfully dangerous, but I'm not sure if it stands up to Rhineland! One thing I suppose, make sure you give an escort a prod before you set off! An extra set of guns can be critical to getting out of a situation alive chaps! Well, that's that I suppose.
Cheerio!

Mornin' lads.
I had a long time pulling the night shift, i was sitting out the front of Planet Leeds waiting for one of our lads looking for someone to ride shotgun, or a Trader in need of an escort, when a smuggler with a cargo full of Deut went flying past and heading for Tau-31! So i joined up with a BPA Constable, and we chased the smuggler all the way to the gate, unfortunatly we lost the dog on the other side.
So the Constable and i headed back to Planet Leeds, when we stumbled across another smuggler, this one running Arms out of Bretonia to Omega-49! We gave chase to Dublin, but he was to fast, and he made it to the '49 Jump Hole. So we decided to cut off his entrance back into New London, with me at the gate, and the Constable covering the Jump Holes, but somehow he managed to sneak straight past us without even appearing on scanner ranges.
With all of these smugglers lately, something is smelling awefully fishy to me, maybe a Kusarian smuggling ring taking Arms out of Bretonia and then moving Deut to Kusari? I would reccomend giving the next smuggler we catch a little 'private interrogation' before we hand them over to the Constublary.
From: Supervisor Kevin Riley Source: Glasgow Outpost, Leeds System, Bretonia To: Bowex Information Network Re: Security Engagement Report
I undocked from New London this evening, expecting to take up a little light escort work. Instead, I receive a message from none other than Fleet Admiral Percy Nelles requesting my assistance against some NLH ships. Considering the terms of our agreements with the BAF, I immediately dropped what I was doing, and proceeded to link up with the Admiral's squadron in the Edinburgh system.
Upon my arrival in system, I found myself in the middle of the fight against those Gaian criminals. I immediately announced my arrival and engaged. We were facing two of them, [NLH]Ktayn and [NLH]Marburg. Such a lengthy engagement is a little beyond my experience, but I managed to give as good as I got, and our side quickly gained the upper hand. First, Ktayn fell to Lt. Evyn Hunter. After a fair bit more fighting, in which Marburg proved his tenacity, we finally managed to get him into a crossfire, and brought him down, too.
It was certainly a more exciting day than I had expected, but I'll leave the Military engagements to the professionals in the future, as best as I can. I will remain on Glasgow for the next few days while my Hussar undergoes minor repairs. I will be available for reassignment at that time.

Trade Negotiation Report
I have just arrived on Malta for my trade negotiations with the Council of Dons. Despite the dangers of a trip to Omicron Alpha, we have arrived safely on Planet Malta. The trip itself was uneventful and the Maltese locals have been very polite to us so far. On with the report.
We started at New London, where we loaded up a varied cargo to show the Council of Dons what can be gained through trade with Bretonia. Here is a copy of our cargo/passenger manifest, as of the time we left Bretonian space.
Our passage through the Taus was as uneventful as can be managed in a war zone. Fortunately, and Armored Transport is both rugged and discrete, and managed to pass through the Kusari blockade unmolested. We went all the way to Freeport 10 in, where we stopped to refuel and make our final preperations for entry into Omicron Alpha. This is the furthest any Bowex vessel has ever been, and I must say that Tau-37 is a very interesting system. I captured the following from the Attlee's flight recorder.
After that, we jumped into the Omicron Alpha system, where we encountered a pair of Maltese destroyers standing guard over Planet Malta. We hailed the destroyers, informed them of our prearranged mission to the Council of Dons, and requested permission to approach the planet. They allowed us to approach, and then requested that we submit to cargo scan before landing on the planet. Obviously, we complied, and were cleared to land on Malta. From orbit, Malta is a beautiful world, though not as beautiful as New London or Cambridge. The Attlee's flight recorder caught the following image.
When we approached the spaceport, I caught a view of one of the more unique cities I've ever visited. What caught me the most was the orange fields as far as the eye can see. Definately one of the strangest and most beautiful things I've ever seen. The ventral camera caught a fairly decent image of the spaceport.
After disembarking from the Attlee, my delegation met a representative of the Council of Dons who led us up into the city itself. One of my assistants took an image of the spaceport and the Attlee on it's landing pad. In the distance, you can get a better view of the orange fields.
The negotions with the Council are about to begin. I will send an update soon about our progress here.

Good afternoon Sirs and Ma'ams, this is escort pilot James Naylor reporting in. Specifics of my contract and employment with Bowex can be found over private channels. However in summary, I will say that I was briefly a soldier of our majesty's ground forces, followed by a two year spell in an attachment to the Navy. Due to the level of training I received during my military career I've been granted access to one of Bowex's few Templar class fighter escorts.
This report is due to actions undertaken on the 17/11/816 against the hostile forces of the 'Die Wilden'. I was due to meet Mr. Andrew Maloney (Shire class transport 'Bramall') at Planet Cambridge for an escort service into Rhienland due to a sudden increase in piracy by both the Corsairs and Hessian's. When I arrived however, Mr. Maloney was no-where to be found.
At this point Ensign Simon Aldwyn warned me that several Wilde ships had been detected in Cambridge by the Picket Line (a name given to the line of weapon platforms along the western extents of Cambridge by BAF fighter patrols) - forces which showed up soon after. My scanners were reading two hostile contacts, reading as Neuromancer and Abschnitt. My scanners could not identify either ship, although visually I could see Neuromancer had a small profile (probably a Wrath), while Abschnitt was piloting something larger, possibly of a sub-capital class.
After sighting these Wilde, I initiated a lane jump to the battleship Norfolk, as I was instructed to (due to my new civilian security status - something I'll have to get used to). Ensign Aldwyn had engaged the Wilde, and apparently was attempting to subdue them single handed seeing as reinforcements were still one system away. I chose to disobey orders and jump back to the Planet to engage the alien invaders.
Shortly after I engaged, several more fighters arrived, as well as the Cruiser, the HMS-Sovereign. the Sovereign and myself focused on the sub-capital, while the other fighters engaged 'Neuromancer'. After a crippling salvo from the Sovereign, the alien was disabled, followed by what I assume was a self-destruct sequence. I'm afraid there was nothing left for the scientists to study. We switched targets to the Wrath which was dispatched soon after.
A great day for Bretonia I believe - two foul invaders vanquished without loss to the fine forces of the Bretonian Armed forces! I have attached a gun camera picture recording:

Today's log concerns the events of the 15/12/816, where I first met Krjsto Ramos, captain of the Bowex)Nightingale.
The day started with me launching from Manhattan in the New York system where my last escort job had left me. From Manhattan I attempted to find another convoy who could pay me for protection services. Apart from one smuggler who attempted to trick me into protecting illegal goods, no-one responded.
After a short while waiting, Mr. Andrew Maloney sent me a message telling me a new recruit had been picked up by our Liberty branch and that I was to escort him to Bretonia was indoctrination. Mr. Ramos arrived promptly and we set off for New London immediately.
The journey went off without a hitch and we made it to Bretonia without incident. Mr. Ramos politely questioned me about his new job prospects as we flew, in a courteous and careful manner. He was probably worried about upsetting a new employer!
Once we were at Planet New London, I asked him to dock and meet with Bowex's regional ship dealer, who provided him with a recruit-level Clydesdale freighter. He then proceeded to Corporate HQ - Leeds, to finish the process by swapping paperwork with some clerks.
the Bowex)Nightingale now broadcasts as a Bowex ship, much to the delight of her captain.
That's all I have to say for now, although I do have the following cockpit image:

Why hello old chaps! This is just an in-office memo to say congratulations to those two wonderful workers Christopher Wren and Lisa Graham for their recent promotion from Senior Employee to Supervisor.
A hearty congratulations to both of you, for your hard work was acknowledged! As for the rest of you layabouts, pay attention to these two rising stars, for you would do good to follow their lead, my friends.
If you would see either the Bowex)Underbridge or the Bowex)Anne.Boleyn in space, give then a verbal pat on the back and general congratulations!

Re: Trade Report
An uneventful day today, I ran a few trades using the suggested trade lanes in our private network. At the start my funds did not allow me to run with a full hull but that changed after three runs. I ran across some people who politely asked me what I was trading. I could not disclose the information as that information is highly classified. I would not want competition in our trade lanes e?
But anyway, that is the small report that I have. I will be giving better ones as I gain more experience in writing reports and when I experience more interesting runs.
Thank you Bowex for accepting me in your company.
